Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan won the crucial pt that led to the Hubei team winning 3-2. They beat Chai Biao/Zhang Wen 21-12, 21-14.

They will play 3 more matches, probably 2 more matches next week (02/15, 02/17) and then after the All-England?

    Interesting result:

Wang Zhengming beat Chen Long 21:16,21:19.
Bao Chunlai beat Du Pengyu 21:18,11:21,21:19.
Even when pair with Cai Yun, Li Gen still lost, 16:21,15:21. Who are their opponent that manage to win? I can't recognize their name.

Btw, how come the last 2 matches for guangzhou vs shanghai, the scoreline shown on the website Redshuttle provided is 9:11,2:11 for WS and 11:8,4:11,5:11 for MX. Did they really play until 11 point only?

If the group matches have already been won at that point, the remaining matches will only play until 11 points.

    For example.
1)If team A beat team B 3:0, the following 2 matches will paly as if it is 11 points rally scoring system
    2) If team B beat team A 4:1, the last match will be play till 11 points.
    3) If team A and team B tie at 2:2, the last match will play according to normal regulation (21 points rally scoring system).

This is to save time I believe.

Wang Zheng Ming beat Chen Long! That is encouraging, CL better review himself.

I wonder if Zhang Nan partnering Tan Boon Heong can also be lethal.

If WZM can beat CL, it sounds scary to other country's "junior" MS players... just imagine after the LD's retirement, CHN still got CJ, BCL, CL, WZM and DPY... all very BOLEH players... :)
