I was in the vicinity of the Mitsena Badminton Courts late Saturday night and dropped by to catch some badminton action of the 'All Star Badminton Club' players there. The courts are rubberised and the lighting is good.
Hi All, Sorry... that I have been away and have missed to answer some. I'm back and hope to be of some information source about Thailand. Cheers, Kay
I have been to take some photos at a Thai badminton competition. I like some of my photos of those in actions. They have been put on a slide show at this website 'http://resport.co.cc/' which is under 'http://sites.google.com/site/BadmintonThailand' (with active Google maps of some Thai badminton courts including My House). If you like to download a photo click on the link on those slide show to go to PicasaWeb.google.com, then you can download it. Note: some photos are downloaded at bigger size after clicking a magnifying icon. Cheers. Kay

Intro I have newly arrived to Bangkok and will stay here at least five months more from now. I would like to play badminton with someone, hopefully more then one time. Its always hard to describe my own level, but I am surely better then average Joe. Mostly of my badminton skills I have got from my years as a professional tennis player in my youth. But that was tennis and this is badminton and I havent played tennis and badminton since I started on university a couple of years ago. But today I would like to play mostly to get some exercise and badminton is much more exhausting then tennis. And more fun. This is what I am looking for I am looking for occasions or players to play with. I live very close to BTS Nana at Sukhumvit and wouldn't like to travel too far from here. I work monday to thursday to 16:30. Fridays I usually quit much earlier. My weekends are often free. I would like to play any kind of badminton, as long as I sweat! Feel free to contact me or give me suggestions!
Hi Lernontov, I believe there are some b-courts around the BTS station. So, as before, I would suggest that you should sign up for ThaiBadminton.com. Please search for the steps for signing up. After being a user, post and say what you want. There will be plenty of players who want to have you as a friend. : )
Thank you for your answer, Albert. I have signed up at ThaiBadminton. But everything is written in thai! I will though try my best and try to write there anyway.
Have luck smiled on you through Thaibadminton.com? Hi Lermontov, Some foreigners did manage to get friends and courts the way they like it through the mostly-in-Thai site. You can choose to have buttons and commands in English. Hope you did. Want some help? : )
I have searched to find your thread, and found none. What's your user name at Thaibadminton.com? Or give me the link of your post/thread.
