the following was extracted from the victor china website.

what is the diagrams trying to explain?

    second diagram:
left to right: weak (i think) to strong
top to bottom: attack to control
x80 suitable for attack-oriented advance players?

    Is anyone here from China?

Looks like China has the new Victors before anyone else has. Is there anywhere reputable in China that has the MX80 and can ship internationally?

Pretty sure it'll be around the same price with the high end Victors...I highly doubt it will be much more than that (hopefully).

Well, i found one store selling one already in china.

    HERE

Not sure if these are preorders or not but the release date were stated 26th Jan...so...*shrugs*

but hey, at 954 Yuans = 91 GBP, these will definitely be around the same price as the other high end victors.
If these are legit, and they do ship overseas..definitely will be getting one. :D

"To provide all players a racquet that is suited to them, we produced a new series that combined all three elements of stability, speed and strength: our MX80. Meteor MX80 is born.
As well as using the same carbon fibre technology as the SPIRA to strengthen the frame, the MX80 also uses our new eight-bladed structure technology and our Peak Waves technology. The eight-bladed structure technology and Peak Waves technology improves the stability of the head of the racquet and strengthen it for attack.
We also made improvements in the frame itself in the stringed area. We have gone from 72 holes to 80 holes giving an unprecedented low rate of wastage in string."

"When I tried the Meteor X80; because I personally need a stable racquet that can handle drive shots; I think that the stability of this racquet is very good. It is good at handling drive shots. This racquet has also improved my weaker area of attack. I think this is a very good racquet.
The research and development team are awesome!"

That is what I thought too

Nice ! They have SW37 and BS12 also. Both look the same leh.

Seems like they are coming out with racquets which are less stiff and less head heavy.

From the response to the questions posed by potential buyers, the Legend is apparently more difficult to use though it is more powerful.

The MX80 does seem very interesting but I wouldn't take LYD's word for it...I'd rather go and get one and try it myself. I'm pretty sure he's not going to say..."The MX80 sucks...give me my BS09" ;)

I think this racket promise alot but I don't believe the advertising and marketing. I give it a try or wait for some good reviews from some well known BC members.
On specs and technologies it sounds good, but this doesn't mean that it performs well.
It seems it is very similar to the SP21 and SW35. If Victor make a racket which melt the strength of the SW35 and BS10 together it will be a the racket for me.
Is somebody here who can explain the pros of the octablade frame compared to the BS frame in terms of aerodynamics?
Maybe I'm too stupid to understand but I can't believe that the octablade frame swings faster than the BS frame. Somebody can explain it?
