The salesman is correct that all Mizuno products are made in China (including my beloved TC700s). I'm not sure about the implied quality difference like what happened to Yonex. However, if the JPN Mizuno shoes last any longer than those I had previously, they might just last a lifetime.
Previously i was wearing a clone shb 101 ltd Protech shoe. I have to say that the cushion and the gripping of this shoe is awesome. The front part of the shoe feels great and the durability is quite good tho. Not like any other cheap shoe, after u slide with your left leg toe area, the shoe front part will have a hole
sounds good. i'm still considering which shoe to buy. currently considering Asics Gel 1130V, Victor SH8600 and SHW8000, as well as Mizuno Tornado and Lightning..difficult decision sigh
Hi there ..... Hopefully that will be the case ...... tmrw will first time i'll be wearing them to court. Let's see how they hold up.
currently wearing the shb 101 ltd's in white/red, have 2 pairs rotating Just ordered the Li-Ning AYE005-2's...too expensive, but I have to try. Will be like George and probably also try the SH8600 ACE...
I would say go for the new Victor SH8600 ACE. It is good value for the quality besides they are badminton court shoes. The Mizunos you listed are volleyball shoes which can be used for badminton but loses out in mobility and grip compared to badminton shoes though their cushioning is fine. If you have to get Mizunos, go for their badminton shoes like their Wave Smash, Wave Gate and Wave Angle series.
i concur for the new Victor SH8600 ACE...light and comfy. currently happy with the red.. cant wait to buy the blue one
can i know SHB 85 and the limited Red colour got the different ?? we take aside the quality , compared wear & tight , thx
Best mid range shoe? I have just bought a kason shoe in December 10 and wore it 2x a week on parquet and it only lasted till this week when i found out the PVC material on the forefoot already crack and i guess it will not take long before it will torn out..any suggestion on any mid range and durable court shoe?
asics? i just received my Gel 1130V a couple of days ago. wore it twice and the cushioning is excellent!
just got myself a pair of Victor 8000 H. quite nice. it is a wide shoe which fit my feet pretty well.
Victor should be quite common. I'd check with Chris Aw's E-Link Sports in Blk 716 Ang Mo Kio Ave 6. Mizuno wave smash SG had only very limited sizes the last I checked (5 months back). You may be lucky to see one at any World of Sports outlets. I heard that some shops in Queensway SC carry them but I've not set foot there since forever.
