We'll never know. You can't just state that like it's a fact.

Well, I got what I came for. A pretty entertaining match. It really could have gone either way. I didn't catch the first game but the last two were pretty good. The rubber match was really up for grabs and IMO LCW simply lost focus at the end and made a few metal errors which LD, to his credit, took advantage of. From perspective of a fan of the game, it was a great game to watch and the better player on this day won.

I could not see how better can lcw go because of the slow shuttle,

Lin Dan is playing safe and fast that makes lcw uncomfortable at times

Thats why so many errors

If he went full speed, rubber game would be far away or if there is even a rubber game :D

well, different people will see differently :)

Lee Chong Wei had way more errors than Lin Dan, imo. The great thing about Lin Dan was that he has very few unforced errors (except 2nd game where he blew himself up towards the end)
Netplay, Lee Chong Wei did well to match Lin Dan.
Speed, LCW is supposed to be faster but Lin Dan was retrieving as good if not better.
Power, if I'm not mistaken LCW hit a 259 km/h smash :D Lin Dan also hit one 250 or 260+, forgot but Lin Dan has the deadly interception smash that makes it almost impossible to return, while LCW still doesn't have that dimension in his game yet.

Lin Dan and Lee Chong Wei wasn't playing their best in my opinion, but hey, Lin Dan won so congratulations to him!

I think MS's presence would have made a difference.
LCW was leading at times in the 3rd game and MS would have read LD's strategy better.
LD was actually huffing and did not appear as vigorous as LCW and this would have been noticed by MS.

Yes time for SS to step in and take the lead from Taufik. Howver, He has yet to win over Taufik. Taufik is still a fierce competitor IMHO.

Looks LD and his coaches are master tacticians. Despite having close matches in the leadup to the finals, somehow he still manages to have extra reserve speed and energy to elevate his play level when playing LCW.

He doesn't show all his cards until the final matches. And this always catches LCW offguard.

Nice to see them chatting during and after the prize presentation. Couldn't really pick up what they were saying but heard something about playing in malaysia and signing autographs.

I believe only Misbun, Li Mao and Morten Frost could outfox the Chinese coaches and it behoves LCW to engage any one of them.
I agree that LD only spurted during the dying minutes of the 3rd game and this caught LCW by surprise.

LCW wasn't fooled (after testing LD out in the first few minutes in Game 1)

    .
Although some BCers have been fooled, it's for sure that LCW wasn't fooled (after testing LD out in the first few minutes in Game 1).

At the end of the match, LCW has accepted his defeat graciously. :):):)

However here at BC, I think some BCers have accepted that Lin Dan has fooled them with his injury (as shown from LD's last few matches). ;););)

One influential personality once said that some people are congenital liars and you have to take what they say with a pinch of salt.
If a situation happens once, you may be able to accept it as the truth but if it happens too regularly on a set pattern, then they are questionable.
We, the Bcers, could have been hoodwinked this time, as there was no sign of any impairment of a week ago at the 2011 MO, as claimed by the player.

    :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
