It felt like LCW gave away more cheap points than LD did. This is where the mental difference lies, as well as in closing out a match

Interesting statistic, 112 rallies were played, LD and LCW each won 56 (ie, 50%) of them.

Unfortunately for LCW, the mental stumble still remains and he lost the pts at the most crucial moments.

One of the best match I've seen. The stress can be felt thru out the match, esp in game 1 and game 3 until 16 all. My best honour to two of the best players of badminton nowadays.

Congrats to LD for winning the first premier SS. Seriously, he didn't seem to be injured at all.

Congrats to LD for winning a tough 3 sets match against LCW. He play much better at end of third set when the score was 16-15 for LCW.

Only LD and occasionally Sonny can defeat LCW right now. HOpe we will see many of their matches in finals or SF this year.

Don't you start inciting LCW's fans to have a war of words against you. :(:(:(

Hmm... always has trouble in the closing moments. Otherwise he can definitely match Lin Dan.

LD's game plan trumped LCW's by far... he literally won the first set by turning it on for 1 single point...

good game but when the points matter, we can easily see the gap between the two players

At least LCW is trending on twitter, and LD is not. Haha.

Beautiful badminton. They two are the best players in the world now.
