    my off-spec super heavy Precision is now the default "power" racket among my circle. when we need to do defensive drill, people borrow it to smash. because it take so little effort to produce a nice fast and good sounding smash for the defender. the combination of the head heavy balance, medium stiff shaft and ZM62 is a winning combo.

    now i look forward to the Ultra Pro, with raised expectations.

    Pre ordered mine already :)

    I just recieved my apacs bag (AP1003 big orange one). Some things I like about is that it matches the look of my winter jacket. Things I'm disappointed is that the shoe compartments go into the 2 side compartments taking up space for more rackets. However everything else I'm happy with.

    Is it me or most bags have the shoe compartment near the top when you wear it as a backpack?

    It's not just you - my bag is designed the same way, yet it's balanced when I carry it around on my back. So the problem Dink described is not caused by the shoe compartment being on top. The contact area is probably too small, making it possible for the bag to roll around on your back. I think that problem can be avoided by making the top of the bag slightly concave (curved inwards) - that way it'll kinda reach around your back and thus not sway from side to side...

    PS: Just strung my T2 @25-26lbs, (inner) head length before: 141mm, after: 141mm....got a bit lucky, I guess :D

    For that specific Technifibre bag it is the problem.

    Other bags Panda has tried with shoe compartments on top were generally fine, no balance issue.
    In fact, that bag was one of the few that didn't balance.

    I still think it's some other design fault :p As you said, other bags with the shoes on top don't have that kind of problem. Although I don't know that particular bag, so I could be wrong of course :D

    Why would they put the shoe compartment at the top anyways? Maybe so that you can smell your shoes since there closer to your head :p Sometimes I pickup my bag and just as I'm about to sling it onto my shoulders I realized I have it upside down.

    6-8 rackets in bag, if possible same dimensions as Tecnifibre 12 bag or maybe something like this Wilson bag:
    http://www.merxmarx.com/en/review/product/list/id/1920/category/187/

    Shoulder straps as Tecnifibre or Wilson bag (I do not like Babolat or Head design).

    I prefer thermal protection but still not sure if this is working or not when bag is actually on court during 2 hours play.

    I know the bag. What I do not like is the pocket at the back for shoes and small pocket access for clothes and other stuff. Pocket for drinks and stuff is really useless if you ask me.

    And price is really high.

    Anyway nice bag.

    This bag is pretty good. Maybe panda can use this bag but make another seperate compartment for shoes instead of sharing it with the 2 main compartments and maybe 5cm wider.

    Otherwise I'll just convert my violin case to hold badminton :)

    I seriously don't get the point in having one of those big bags.

    I have a 6 racket Ashaway bag, and it holds:
    * 16 badminton rackets (incl. covers)
    * 4 dozen shuttles
    * a pair of shoes
    * strings/grips/etc
    * water bottle
    ...and still has plenty of room for towels/clothing.

    Unless you're a stringer, there's no reason to be carrying even half of that around with you.
    And if you really do need to carry that much, then you may as well just save yourself a few quid and get a big holdall - preferably with wheels, since carrying a fully packed 12-racket bag is probably going to give you a back/shoulder injury before you even get to the court...

    Thanks for the suggestion; Panda has had that Orange APACS bag and it's good but needs a few modifications. Panda will be making a racket bag similar, it's a hybrid among quite a few bags, extracting the best from each. Shooting for late 1st Quarter 2011 completion.
