ya, should thank those 2 guys who have been uploading most of video here in bc, speedy and viado and anyone else for that matter. thank you guys/gals!

after seeing the video, i can say tago wasn't the same as in all england

and has very poor defense especially for his left hand corner and lcw just know when to attack that area. one sided actually

japan fans lucky? i don't think so - earlier matches like xd & ls, you can see a lot of empty seats in the stadium

or maybe they all sleep late sunday morning and only saving for the ms & md?

congrats for winning he japan open 2010 beating lindan. Just play patience game to the 4 corners. No flicks as lindan is fast in anticipating it. Nothing to loose to shoot to the four corners. Its all about stamina and mind games. ;)

Heartiest congratulations to LCW for winning the 2010 YONEX JAPAN OPEN SUPER SERIES MS title match against LD of China 22-20, 16-21, 21-17.
I think it is the longest singles match of his career taking 1.21 hours to subdue LD.
I was really glad that LCW was matched against LD in the final as a win against any other opponent could be construed as insignificant.
The win means that LCW has so far won 7 titles out of 8 outings in 2010 and also his 2nd YJOSS MS title. This is indeed a big achievement.

If not because of Datuk LCW success in the MS event, it will again be a repeat like in WC, a total China dominance in all the event.

The QF in WC10 is a total disaster for both LCW and LD. I can only say that it is unfortunate for both players. With LCW's back injury, he is a bit stiff and can't pick up the speed required to edge TH. And when you let TH get quicker than you to the front court, you are committing a suicide. And LCW seems unable to bend his back enough to play those explossive cross court smash. When the smashes from LCW become predictable, it is natural for TH to defend them with more ease. After the interval of 3rd set, LCW started to have doubt on his game and physical ability, and that's the end.

Is not that LD is slow in QF, it is just that PSH didn't let LD play well. PSH was playing quite fast since the first set because he knows he has to be at his absolute best to get the better of LD and his strategy works. LD on the other hand, a little bit slow to get into his game, my gut feeling is he was underestimating PSH at that time(can't blame him, after all he has beaten PSH 8 times before this). However, LD tried to increase the tempo after the interval but he didn't control his shots too well and the unforgiving heat in the stadium just bring all of his shuttles out off the court. This is when LD starts to get nervous and go for all out attack. However, PSH answered him with a even better defense, leaving LD standing on court wondering what went wrong. In the second game, LD didn't look as confident and become passive. And when LD was not playing his game, we all know what's the outcome going to be.

I certainly think that Msia has lost a golden chance to nail the WC in Paris but what can you do except keep trying? Nevertheless, I think the media, fans and the national association has put too much pressure on these players:(:(. Probably is better for them to take things easy.

The spanking part is not very nice, OTB:D:D:cool::cool:. Tago is still young and just turned 21. If he improved a little more on his attacking play & fitness he will be a force to be reackoned with in 2 years time. I am just doing a wild guess that KT will be the main challenge to CHN great wall in MS after LCW's retirement. Hopefully, the backup from your birth country can spring a surprise as well. Finger cross;).

By the way, congratulation to LCW for winning his 7th title. I love to watch LCW play with calm , ease and have the wit to outplay the opponent.

The Thomas cup semifinal is so not you, mate.

So keep playing like what you played in Japan Open 2010 and leave the past behind you. Best wishes for your future success.

    Well done once again.
