The stream is up for me. http://www.mediafire.com/i/?g9gaeiwvza6lqdd Could you try to refresh the page? Let me know. Thanks.
the stream seems to be unstable currently. Keep stoping. Is there any problem from the stream or due to my internet problem?
Hey ngu87, I'm watching it at home and it's not been a problem, barring one short freeze approx 25 minutes ago - as the stream dropped below the minimum buffering level. What's your internet connection like and also are you using streamyx? Could you do me a favor, click on the video stream itself, and then type "octopusaccess" (pretend you're typing in an imaginary box), a debug window will pop-up, could you e-mail the details to me please - info.tv@totalsports.tv. Let me know.
I am using streamyx. This afternoon strem was good and very smooth but since 9.30 pm i had experienced interupted stream. Perhaps its my internet speed. Thanks for replying to my question.
I face the same problem. In office (using leased line), the quality was quite OK but now at home (2Mbps ADSL), the quality is not acceptable (picture freezes every 15-20sec)... so no way I can enjoy the watching the games from home...
Nevertheless, I have brought this up with the technical team, it could be that some adjustments needed to the auto-bitrate feature. Could you help me run the debug as mentioned in post #104? Let me know what's your bandwidth QOS. Thanks.
OK, if you see the first line, under live, do you see TSA_Paris1 or TSA_Paris2? Paris1 is 800k and Paris2 is 400k, so at your connection of 431k, it's approx 93% of your total bandwidth connection - if you're getting Paris2. Thus if you browse other pages while watching at the same time, you will encounter problems. Even on a single browser watching the stream alone, I don't think even at 431k would be enough.
TSA_Paris2... the picture will freeze every 30-45sec... hangs for appx 15sec.... quite consistent... I think my 2Mbps ADSL connection at home is not stable... does it matter if I use Chrome instead of IE browser?
Actually, I plan to subscribe and pay to watch the QF matches onwards... but my home 2Mbps ADSL is not good enough for the streaming...
No, unfortunately browsers don't matter, and I'm a Chrome supporter myself. It's the connection stability. My superiors experienced the same problem in the past and I noticed they all had one thing in common - Streamyx, which is unfortunately, the biggest ISP in the country.
Sorry to hear that, I'm guessing it's the internet connection stability as I'm viewing it from my home not a problem at all. What's your bandwidth QOS?
Even at 2mbps, you're not guaranteed of speeds up to 2mbps, hence if you noticed from the QOS, you're at 431k, 0.4mbps, how frustrating is that?
..bro, yes, i think you guys need to improve the "security around the stream". Btw, thanks for providing the stream and thanks to the person(s) who provided the link in that site..
