Thinking of letting go of my Issen :(

Maybe too hot for me to handle.... thinking of letting it go at RM400. Bought it for RM540 in June 2010. I will provide re-stringing with Gosen Bio-root (my personal favorite guts for the time being:)) and two grips and the clothe single racket sling bag.

Do reply me if interested. I'm in Selangor.

Interestingly the Tenbu and Issen are sold out at the local shops in Bangkok eg First Sports, etc and new stocks will only arrive in a month's time (estimated). They are still available at department stores eg Paragon but prices are higher (Baht 5,900 less 20% discount).

    Hi Bayanbaru,

    I don't think I can answer that.

I'm not an authorised distributor of Gosen nor I know that price for the racket in Japan inclusive of the freight charge from Japan.

I got used to the tenbu after 3 sessions of playing with it. Bought it in Hong Kong. It is about the same price as Honly in Jb after discount. I love the speed of the racket due to the headlight and with a proper wrist flick, it can send the ball to the baseline quite easily. good for point smash as well. Using this with BG66Maxima at 26lbs, one of the best feeling I got after getting used to the stiffness of the racket. I would say, buying from Japan is not cheaper as I went to Tokyo in October, but the price is easily 21000yen after discount at Windsor, not much cheaper given yen is on the rise lately. from the web, you can get from e78 or go to honly in JB if you are in Malaysia. the Gosen distributor in Singapore did not bring in this Ryoga series for some unknown reasons. Gosen doesnt do much marketing compared to Yonex, LiNing and Victor, but that is okay for me. I have took a swing of alot of rackets previously, but tenbu feels the most comfortable to me. Though price is abit on the high side, it is still lower than Yonex or LiNing. I do owned a BS09 which is bought from Chris not too long ago, I might sell it if i feel i only use tenbu for the next 2 months.

honly offered me rm 480 for the tenbu, just the racket without string and cover. anyway you really got the best deal for the tenbu. just too bad i din go to bangkok this year. so for those who want to buy tenbu, best to get it from bangkok first sports then. if i ever need a second tenbu, i will definitely get it from bangkok. $50 difference!!

    Still using the Tenbu!

Still using the Tenbu and loving it. But its about time I switch out the strings as its not as lively as before. I put in bg-70 last time due to the number of broken strings I was having using ZyMax. Not as lively as the ZyMax, but way more durable.
Lately I've been using BG-66Sharp and BG-65Power which are JP strings. These are nice strings and have held up quite well. May consider the BG-66Maxima after hearing good things about it, but will have to order them from Japan.

Hi groovyshot, glad you love the tenbu. Tenbu is always my go-to racket when I play against tougher opponents. Maxima is still holding it's tension quite well after abt 2 months of play.
