Hello, I have been browsing this forum for some time but it is my first post. Last year, I went to a badminton discovery day and they organized a small tournament. First price was a badminton racket and I would like to know if someone could identify it. 2 stickers are present. One says "Made in China" and the other describes tension and some racket characteristics : 2U V:<= 30 lbs G2 H:<= 32 lbs Strung with Yonex BG65 so I was favouring a Yonex racket in disguise but the "Made in China" sticker made me rethink that statement. Length is 67.7 cm and balance point is roughly at 26.5 cm from the base of the handle. I put a grip and surgrip over the existing grip as the handle was too small for me (I am used to tennis racket handles). Here are some pictures of the beast (not the best quality as they were taken with a mobile phone camera) Thank you for your help.
Have stringed one. Definitely not Yonex, with or without disguise. In China, there are thousands of factories, that print whatever you want on a racquet. Why do you care? If my memory serves me right, it was stiff, head heavy racquet. The owner was non-badminton player gifted with racquet and wanted to sell it.
It was just out of curiosity to know if I had a real brand underneath the paint. Actually, I am playing with Carlton Vapour Trail Tour. Thank you for your answer.
It has the styling of a Victor Racket, likely a Superwaves (Super Inside Waves in Europe), with these giving clues: 2U V:<= 30 lbs G2 H:<= 32 lbs E Titanium Frame “diamond” cross section -
gsloh is correct. There is a similar thread already with the same racquet also wondering which Victor model it really is. edit: here it is http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...i-think-its-victor-maybe-some-help&highlight=
If my memory serves me right, the weight in U units refers to a racket of 100 g from which you deduce weight. So : 1U : 95 to 99 grs 2U : 90 to 94 grs 3U : 85 to 89 grs Am I right ?
