Because the brain remembers what it wants to remember, and forgets what it wants to forget. ;)

This thread should simply change to "What are the tier 1 tournaments" and save some unnecessary debate of a particular individual, a la LCW.

Has slight doubt? Why on earth would he think that? Cmon now, he won the title fair and square and does all LCW critics simply forgot he already claimed the 1st set and if Tago won that point, it still be deuce in the 2nd set? As stated before, some folks will continue to find fault on everything with LCW. The last point between TH and PG was also a big question mark, but things such as that happened, and players move on.

BTW, when the heck did this thread turned into "LCW in AE final's" thread??

Even though LCW did not "cheat"', it was still "unfair" for Tago.

At such a crucial point of the game, LCW made a mistake by lifting it too far, and Tago displayed an impressive use of judgment by leaving it out.Yet, the linesman made a mistake and the game went to LCW.

If the scores for game 1 and 2 weren't as close as it turned out (21-19, 21-19 I believe? not completely sure), then not many ppl will make a big deal out of this. But the fact that this match in general was so close, ppl can't help but have a "slight doubt" that LCW might not have pulled through without the help of the line judge.

Please keep in mind that I fully agree this wasn't LCW's fault, since there was nothing he could of done to prevent the mistake from the line judge (thus why I feel sorry for LCW).

Life's not fair, but it still goes on. Eg: LCW and plenty of other players has been in the receiving end of having to play a much fresher china's player that benefits from LYB match fixing courtesy. Fair or not, that's life.

Everyone can play the what if game all day long. As stated before, even if LCW won the game 21-0, 21-0, there'll still be someone that manage to find something negative about it. Can't satisfy all the fools in the world.

There we go, end of argument there (except for all those critics who like to manufactures nothing out of thin air).

If someone is going to argue and nickpick on a 21-0, 21-0 victory, then yes, I do believe they're qualified to be called a fool. Isn't freedom of speech grand? ;)

Must be getting paranoid aren't you? I don't even see hauge's shadow anywhere near this thread and you're already making accusations. You must've way too many unpleasant encounters to fear him like that.

so, who is this fool who nickpick on a 21-0 21-0 performance? can u provide an example please, badminton related preferred.
For lcw versus tago case, it was 21-19 first set, at 20-19 2nd set, lcw confidence was sliding, when the bad line was made, are we the fools who got a 'what if' in mind?

I'm sorry, did something happened while I was away that turned you to be a sensitive person, scarred by this so-called personal jabs a???? Can't possibly be so, afterall, you mockingly called someone a boleh guru yourself.....so if you do that to someone, everything is fine and dandy, but if something that's deemed a personal jab by your standard, is directed to you, its now suddenly a double standard in BC??? Wow...just wow...

Did I say that you are the fool? I suggest you read the post a couple of times more if it's still not clear to you.

yes, u were away from bc/bf for too long and u missed alot of good stuffs.

u see, this someone said in his post that i know nothing about badminton. With his high statue, why i can't address him as a mr. guru?

This self proclaimed guru happen to create 7 threads in BF with 5 of the threads title ended with question mark.

Thread: What Does It Takes To Become A World Number 1?
Thread: How to beat Lin Dan?
Thread: How Do We Define A Good Coach?
Thread: Largest Badminton Hall/Center in the World?
Thread: Largest Badminton Hall in Malaysia?

why i can't address him as mr. guru?

Is this mr. guru also mr. clean who doesn't mock others?

Technically AE is probably not a top tier, but its hard to argue with 1899.
It's like the oldest employer at a company who has been recently replaced by some young manager, even though the retiree is no longer with the company, when he talks, people listen, even the new manager.

I think bwf should make it a top tier, the best players already play in it anyways, badminton orginated in britain, it would be foolish to turn down the heritage already present, and it would sit nicely with wimbledon, british open etc...
