Nice...where is this Manila? Quezon City? I swear I couldn't find a gym over there, only one I played in was an outdoor basketball court turned into a badminton court :O

This court is located in Laguna. Are you sure you couldn't find any courts in Quezon City? There are actually a number of courts in QC.

I got a better video here. This is our Wednesday group. I divided the 1st set into 4 clips. This is the first one.

Oh! I thought you're a Filipino. Anyway, she was just joking around. She was talking about the 4 guys in a contest of skinning off tilapia. :)

Venkatesh, do the courts have sprung wooden floors? The floor looks more like a 1" to 2" thick slap of wooden plank over a concrete floor. Sprung wooden floors with a high height of at least one foot of space under the playing surface is more desirable. If I were to play on concrete surfaces, I think I would be faced with early retirement from worn cartilage.

Which video are you watching? The court in the 1st video is matted. The court in the 2nd video is rubberized painted.

The one on youtube. If it is a rubber mat how thick is it? is the floor concrete or sprung wooden floor?

..from the videos (youtube), it sounds more like it's on top of concrete. Can't really hear much "wooden" sound...I would guess a sprung wooden floor (with an air gap in between) would be quite costly to install..also, it's in Philippines (SE Asia) where humidity plays a factor on wood..

The Joseph in that 2nd video isn't me. Just thought I'd clarify that.
