for mah self,i don't mind getting my azz whooped by a 15 or 13 or even 10 yr old,who can play,coz i know they will probably outlast me.but to lose to an old grandpa or uncle in the 50s or 60s or even 70s age range,now dat would be one hell of an embarrassing situatiaon.
Instead of focus on who beat you, you should focus on how s/he beats you. Analyze the game itself, rather than the gender, age, look or the background of the opponents. Work on your weakness, and try to explore opponent's weakness. Instead of feel upset, use it as motivation to push yourself to the next level. Also, unless you get to LD's level, there are always better players here or there, when you move up to their level. There are always new defeats. You need to study ur own game as well as theirs, and see how you can be better on your own end.
