LD really needs a lesson from Nadal on how to be humble. When Nadal thrashed Federer @ Roland Garros 2008 with the scorelines 6-1 6-3 6-0, Nadal just raised his both hands without flooring himself like he usually does. Because Nadal knew Federer must have been very disappointed and embarrassed with the scorelines. That's a great champion should do.

Btw, LD's complexion looks like "steamed chicken". Please put your shirt on and stop embarrassing yourself.

Mm, he could do with spending some more time in the sun maybe.
I agree he did not show a great deal of humility. After winning, he came pretty close to patting LCW on the head in condescension.

FHF and CY were quite sportsmanly after their victory though.

I believe LD did that not to embarass LCW.I think it came out of the over excitement,of winning LCW in definite way(easier than anyone could've thought) in LCW's homeground.Or it's to show to the home spectators around that,"Yes,i've done it".At least i think LD wasn't exactly giving that move to embarass LCW.

Note that i'm not both of this player's fans.I'm just giving my own opinion.

LD has the last laugh against those who laughed at him when he lost from 20-11 up against LCW.

Also he did that to his compatriots who were seated in the crowd cheering him on, not to laugh at LCW.

There are many sportsmens out there who are equally talented but humble. Roger Federer, Kaka, Yang Yang before him and the more current ones like Kido/Setiawan and Lee Yong Dae/Jung Jae Sung to name a few. They are all champions in their own right but what separates them from LD is their humility. No doubt LD is the top dog in badminton currently but to me his attitude are flawed. At the end of the day when you sit down and talk about real legends, he do not qualify to the list.
