IMHO, a very slim chance for Team INA to wrest the cup back from CHN after an 8 years absence. It all depends on the result Taufik Hidayat vs Lin Dan. If (and that is a BIG IF) Taufik somehow manages to create an upset by beating the supremely in-form Lin Dan, INA might have a sniff.

Yes...Taufik's victory, coupled with both MDs will have to contribute the 3 pts. I cannot see Sony Dwi Kuncoro or Simon Santoso triumphing against Chen Jin. If they do field Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka in the last tie, and IF the tie does last that long, it will be a cracker.

Tomorrow's match will be a barometer for the Asian Games Team Event later at the end of the year, where both teams will also be eyeing the Gold Medal.

If Team CHN wins convincingly, they are almost 100% guaranteed of winning the Gold. However, if INA somehow manages to steal 2 pts, then the next half a year will be important in terms of sending the right players to the right tournament to improve their rankings prior to the Asian Games.

Let Sony play? I will say no. Better for him to rest and wait till he's fully recovered.

I think its possible for INA to steal 1 or 2 points from Chn........INA players have more fighting spirit compare to MAS players, INA players are more determine and mentality stronger than MAS players.

Look, Even Kor Uber Cup team is leading Chn by 2 - 0 in the UC final now...!!

100% CHN will win...but I believe INA will put a great fight, unlike MAS...

Hayom said in an interview that, if fielded, he wanted to vengeance Bao Chunlai for his lost last year. He is now much improved. I put the chance DHR wins against BC is higher than SS against BC. DHR is more aggressive. Must be very exciting watching DHR playing BC at stand 2-2 (assumption: INA wins both MD's).

LD wasnt great yesterday, it was LCW awful poor performance that makes LD looks awfully strong, if TH play poorly tomorrow then the score will be similar to yesterday's match, but Im sure TH is a more BIG game player compared to LCW , ill say
    65% - 35%
    LD - TH

lin dan wasn't great last night against lcw? i thought it has been quite a while since he played like that, since og 08? you should watch the match again!

as for indonesia against china, it will be quite hard to break the great wall having seen them playing against mas in the semi final. however, i do wish them all the best!

well what Im trying to say is, the yesterday LD was not at his 100%, LCW performance is so awful(as awful as og08) that LD dont need to be on top of his game to beat him, and yes I did watch teh game, the 2nd game looks like practice game rather than semifinal to me :D

    just my 2 cents

Or, CHN TC team is still very sad due to losing their UC. Plus thinking that if Korea has made an upset why INA is not gonna make another. AND they know that SOMETIME their TC will end and goes to another country, can never lasts infinitely.

Enough reasons for CHN to mentally loose :D.
