yeah, i think they should give them a chance. they are not expected to win so might do well without the additional pressure.

Can't agree to this. They may have played with each other during practice sessions.

I seem to remember one time Rexy falling ill just before a world championships. His partner Ricky won the WC doubles with a scratch partner!

    1. Learn to respect people. It is a very rude word use by you to describe the shuttler.

    2. You have made a 'very good' prediction. But, mind if i ask you who is FAIRUS AND TAZRY?:p:p:p ( And after reading this, i laughed until fell from the chair.:D:p) U dont even know their name... Next time, go and study first before u post as BC dont need Joker....

Oh I see, you judge a player by the last three points of the match?

The outcome could be different if KJ were selected.

I feel bad for Denmark, they have a pretty good team this year for the title, except 3rd single. :(

me too...in fact I didn't know to cheer for which team....it's because of M'sia's loss to Jpn that changed everything....I did secretly hope that M'sia will lose while another part of me want them to win...lol

First of all, congratulations to MALAYSIA squad for beating DENMARK.

LCW vs PG - Usually, LCW is a slow starter but today he got into the game very quickly and was sharp throughout the whole match despite some lapses of concentration while having big leads in both games.
    Performance: 90%.
    Can LCW beat LD? Possibly.

KKK/TBH vs MB/CM - Normally, KKK/TBH will be a bit relaxed in the 2nd game after winning the 1st. Today, they were in attacking mode throughout the whole match and didn't let their opponents to have many chances to attack. TBH was still a bit nervous and making unforced errors. When they were leading, KKK started his one-man-show by taking shuttles that supposed to be replied by his partner. Performance wise, they got 85%.
    Can KKK/TBH beat CY/FHF? Possibly.

WCH vs JOJ - WCH played like a potential "rookie" as he mistakenly invited his opponent to play net when he was having 3 game points in the openning game. Yes, he made 2 unforced errors at the net out of the 3 game points.
    Performance: 75%
Can WCH beat CJ? Not likely.

Zakry/Hoon vs LP/JR - Hoon's aggresivenss paid off at the end of the 1st game but he paid the price by netting 3 times towards the last 4 points (including match point). At times, they were confused on who to pick up the shuttle. At some points, Hoon was like waiting at the front court without moving and letting Zakry to chase the shuttle. Even right after the match, Rexy was hugging Zakry but "reminding" Hoon for netting at match point.
    Performance: 70%
Can they beat ZN/CB? Not likely.

Hafiz vs JP - Hafiz has brought in his A game. Hafiz was more aggressive than usual. I even asked my sister not to be happy too soon after Hafiz won the 1st game knowing his yoyo expertise. But he proved me wrong by winning the decider tie convincingly.
    Performance: 95%
Can Hafiz beat BCL or CL? With today's performance, Yes.

Congrats to Malaysian team for the great comeback!! Its good that the player have become more fired up for this match against the Danes. But its not yet time to take the foot off the pedal even more so when facing the Great CHinese! Stay focused and not let what the praises in the media tomorrow get into the head! When the job is done your names will be engraved in history....Malaysia Champions Thomas Cup 2010!

HH played better but JP was ... err... being generous (as Jia You fans would say). JP is a slow lumbering player which suited HH to a tee whereas Sato hustled and harried HH into mistakes. It was an ideal matchup for HH, which to his credit, took full advantage of.

    statistics

Looking at just the last 3 points do not reflect the entire game:p. From set 1 to set 3, the errors resulting in points lost made by ZL were far more than HTH. Dont take my word for it, if anyone recorded the match, just play it again and come out with the statistics. HTH definitely played better and scored more points through his superior wrist work.

ZL looks calmer than HTH... I think the reason why HTH & OSH weren't playing together last night was because they coaches scare their inexperience might cause them to lose focus.

So ZL was rope in to guide HTH... A lot of misunderstanding between the two and I expect them to improve on that.
