All along it is CHN cup to lose, every other team needs some sort of miracle or upset to KO CHN to have a hope of winning, the country with the best hope is DEN with 2 good MDs...Losing to DEN would be the end of MAS TC10 hope but I am actually more disappointed that LCW cannot play LD, that is the game I really want to see play in this TC.

Fergie would never blame his players. He'd probably go for the press, the refs, but never his players. Can you imagine how he would not blame Foster for Manchester United losing their 23-match unbeaten home record in the UEFA Champions League! but there you go, a good coach would never turn his back on players and Malaysian coaches didn't, tonight.

Hafiz scared me to death, tonight.

But, that's not an excuse to refuse supporting. I wish I was there in bukit kiara watching, so they know they don't lose support any yet. :(

Of course lah. You cannot expect him to come out and say to the press "we choose this pair despite horrendous performance because of race issue". Look at it this way, even Razif Sidek mention in the press that we should consider our 3rd double after the Thomas Cup simulation. I doubt Rexy is that blind.

Fortunately that statement is only your opinion and does not hold true. If you are a masochist and can only perform after being man whip, then....... well good for you.

LCW and Taufik Hidayat's coach uses the other method which you so despice but they have achieve a lot.

so you expect rashid to yell at hafiz after he lost to show good professionalism? is there such a person who wants to be bad so he tolerates bad performance?

if you can clarify this probably your post makes sense :p

you are confusing the readers, you don't need to know what really happens inside bam but you have the answer?

if you can let us know what is your profession maybe we can try to put your pieces together....

your earlier post you said you don't need to know what really happens inside bam but here you said you know how bam works? what exactly are you trying to talk about and your whole point?

one semi good thing about last nite was.. my frustration with HH made me switch channels and watch our last womens singles game.

2 losing games, both players playing their hearts out.... but what a difference....
HH....is at the end of his career in despair .... trying to avert a disaster
SC.. .. is at the beginning of her career so full of hope and warming hearts all round

sonia was gutsy ... not intimidated at all...... and some of her winning shots could make even WMC proud.

to me . .whatever the future holds for her.. this should be one of her wonderful moments

Unprepared Thomas Cup or Wrong players chosen

    Hi,

Looking at the match between Jpan and malaysia , LCW and kkk/tbh can only delivered points for Malaysia , the rest .. mmm reason is players is not exposed to major tournament and no experience at all.

WCH ..old ..where are the 2 nd backup.. should put them in... if i were the coach. Looking at the bigger pictures.. in all the major tournament.. Only LCW and KKK/TBH delivered.. where else others has no fire to win..

I would say unprepared team or wrong players chosen.. should give the young exposure who knows they may delivered. Win or lose is part of the game, one must has wisdom and will to win..

Look at our 2nd doubles.. all the weakness has shown.. Mentality is not strong..

See, that's what I'm so against. This whole "grown man", "toughen up" sort of mindset. As if grown men should just deal with everything themselves just because... they're grown men (what the heck?). This is what is backward. You think kicking a player while they're down is professional? I suppose you think it'll make them "toughen up" huh?

There are times when you need to come down hard sure. But that sort of thing should be kept between player and coach, and if anything has to be done, it should be done later; not immediately after the match.

2007 WC LCW lost to SDK and LD beat SDK = probably LCW would have lost to LD if they met that year.

birds of the same species usually flock together.....

anyway, hafiz did great last night but despite that it wasn't enough to put a stop to sago. the jap were good there is no doubt and if they continue like that there will be more surprises....

It's called professionalism. I guess if the management isn't very professional, then how can the players be?

The problem is not Rashid shaking hands with the player that lost. The problem is the selection and the players available for selection which goes back to selection process and policy over the last few years. The pool of players brought up to perform is not big enough. Are the younger generation not being groomed properly? And this goes back to exposure and experience in tournaments. So, the answer is not get angry at present performances. Did you really expect the team to perform as a whole?:D I didn't and am not surprised at the result.
