Is he in the players list as well it can be intelligent to have such a good player in ms3, the same for Lee Hyun Il !
no Lee Yong Dae????.. ..what a surprise!!!...hmm..i guess the KOR squad is quite confident with their other MD pairs/players...or they realize they have no chance anyway to win the Cup thus simply want to give them more experience hrs.. ..i think his absence will lose more than 25% of the crowd...imagine those groupies who are now probably disappointed he won't be coming... (*i'm totally sulking deep down..just want to cry)
Revised Danish teams Kenneth will not play, his job is to coach the Danish players - that's all Danish Uber Cup team Single: Camilla Sørensen Karina Jørgensen Mette Poulsen (replacing an injured Tine Rasmussen) Double: Lena Frier Kristiansen Marie Røpke Line Kruse Kamilla Rytter Juhl Christinna Pedersen Danish Thomas Cup Team Single: Peter Gade Jan Ø Jørgensen Joachim Persson Viktor Axelsen (replacing an injured Hans-Kristian Vittinghus) Double: Mathias Boe Carsten Mogensen Lars Paaske Jonas Rasmussen Thomas Laybourn
Tine and Hans injured? Hmmm, TC/UC 2010 lost many well-known players, particularly Tine and Lee Yong-dae. Hope they will recover quickly. Look at the bright side: welcome, Danes newly-crowned World Junior Champion!!
Despite what Johnny on this forum says, Kenneth is on the danish team, both as a coach and as a player. I know he does not figure in the teams sent out in the media here in Denmark, but I can tell you all for a fact that he is registered for play in the tournament. Weather or not they will use him is not certain yet, but they have the possibility to do so. My guess is they will only use him if Joachim Persson continues his sloppy form...
Australia UC - Team Chia Chi Huang Erica Pong Eugenia Tanaka He Tian Tang Kate Wilson Smith Leanne Choo Renuga Veeran INA-UC Team should don't under estimate to AUS-UC Team. Huang Chia Chi has comeback Her ranking is under Choo, Pong & Veeran, I don't know which WS position she will be played. h2h of MKY vs Huang is 1-1. The other player to watch is Tang Hetian (ex China Uber Team), she can paired with Huang or Veeran in WD. Tang/Huang won in Australian GP by defeated Hongkong's top WD.
The chances of both Denmark and Malaysia Uber Cup teams are down with the loss of 2 regulars each. I vote China, Korea, Japan and Indonesia will go through the semifinals.
Indeed he seems to be on the team, even though it says nothing about it on the Danish badminton association's homepage. Sorry for the confusion But I've read Kenneth needs a dispensation from the Danish doping control committee, because he has not been tested since his stop in international competition. A dispensation he has not gotten yet. I'm sure it's just a formality though.
Okay thanks for Your news Hope JP will recover from his bad form....but I'm expecting for Axelsen they'll choose the best I guess
An astute move to blood Axelsen very early, he really could be the next Gade by age 20. Maybe even be WR1 by then, but that's too early to tell.
