who do you think will be the next potential european to step and gain the World Ranking #1?

Last time was Gade in 1998... and before him there were many... like Morten Frost, Lars?, Peter R.... i think

Or how about, when will be the next time a player not from an asian country take number 1 at singles? lol

quick fact, Gade won Men Doubles in a 1996 junior world champion. probably contributes to his attacking style of play.

Well, there is no one I can see at the moment who is anywhere near the level or potential to be No.1, therfore I say at least 4 yrs there won't be anyone.

Gade was No.1 at some point in 2006 I believe.

probably the next world junior champion.. would be a good contender for the top spots. isn't that usually the trend?

Haven't you noticed that Viktor Axelsen has become WJC in MS last week?
I guess it's Axelsen that could become the next great Danish hope in badminton.
