Apparently the guy hasn't done badminton stringing for a while. Would this change the shape of the racket / distribution of tension significantly enough over the years that I should try to push him into restringing the racket with new strings? It's strung with the last set of NBG95 I have, which I like, and I don't live at a place right now where I can get more of those easily or cheaply. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
I'm no expert on this, but i wouldn't risk my racket, and would personally get it changed asap. Also, the perpetual worry that something might be wrong with my racket would kill me. Good luck, and i hope someone more knowledgable replies asap!
Hi juderi, welcome to BCDF! Whereabouts in the US are you? And to answer your question, I'd have them redo it immediately. They should do this free of charge. If you're looking to get some NGY95, I can sell to you for 9 per pack plus shipping which should not be more than a few dollars.
