    Hi guys,

i have read in other threads that if u misshit at higher tensions like 25 and above, ur racket will be damged? How true is that and why?
    Please enlighten.

No problem so far for me. My typical tension is around 28lbs and have not killed a racket solely due to mishits.

Why do you use ARC10 if you miss hit a lot?

    For you info, depend.
    1) How hard are you hitting the clear/smash?
    2) Where is the miss hit? Frame or on the string but out side of sweet spot?
    3) Feather or plastic shuttle?

It is not that i misshit a lot. Its just that i am scared that if i accidentally misshit at high tension, my racket will get screwed up.

You should be fine. It's gotta be something really catastrophic to mess up your racket.

With our Dinkie Panda, any racket will go noodle, crack and pop in no time :D, mishit or not.

it's really about how well your racket can handle the tension, but i think for something like acr10, it should be able to handle high tensions like 28....

    no worries.
