Hi I am currently wanting an arc10 and I am buying my friends arc10 for $100 but I want to see if its real or not. Shaft code: 7824206 Cone: 240783US
And I also do not recall there being fake or cloned US racquets..I only know of JP and SP to have clones or fakes. The shaft does seem to match the manufacture date but one difference is coloring of the buttcap. My friend said the arc10 is fake because the buttcap is a lighter green than his arc5 or my ns8k but my ns8k buttcap is lighter than my AT900T from what I remember and NS9900. Does coloring of buttcap indicate anything? It takes effort to scratch it and the sticker on the cap is pretty hard to remove.
Coloring and the stickers SHOULD be indicators...but you should always allow for slight variances in manufacturing... From the serial, it appears to be a genuine racket, but pictures would be helpful (but I know you probably don't have it with you). Get someone else's Arc10 and compare the paintjob with the one you're buying. You can also work out a deal with your "friend" that if you believe it is fake, and if it is in the same condition in which you bought it, then you can just ask him for a refund. But that would only work if he is a good friend of yours Jw, are you enrolled in a high school in san jose?
It has an even balanced leaning towards head heavy feel which seems to be a normal thing according to reviews but just that my friend who told me that the racquet is fake told me the guy whos selling it told him that it's fake but its hard to believe that the racquet is fake...(sorry if that sounds confusing xD)
Hi, I was wondering if this racket was fake, being that the code doesn't seem realistic according to the DDMMYxCC rule. Although this racket is coded to be JP- Japan, i was just wanting to if anyone knows if this is real or fake?
