Arc Z required a LOT of adjustment for me, but I now have one for singles. IMO the NS9900 is too much work here: it's excellent in defence, but the head light balance gets to be a problem if you're clearing all the time. The Z wins purely because of its balance, but I agree it is overrated (and overpriced).
Out of the 2 choices the OP has given, unfortunately, the NS9900 is designed for doubles (eg. KKK/TBH) and the ArcZ is designed for singles (eg. Tago).
Yes, Z Slash and 9.9k is my most hated, but since I hate 9.9k more Z slash is a better racket.. but in reality it is for singles
Z slash is more for singles ns 9k9 is a double designed racquet I never tried any of these two but on the paper (specs, reviews) ns 9k9 seems better
If you intend to use NS9900 for single, find a 2U. Why dont you choose Arc10, all around racket and it is more user friendly than ArcZ.
yes, agree on the ARC10, one of the best Yonex rackets in recent years.... Only slightly head heavy....
but Arcsaber 10 the head is heavier than Z slash...this is what i fell...Nanospeed 9900 i heard most of them said easy to control and balance...I am confused now... =(
is it because u tried swinging them? the arc z has a slimmer and more aerodynamic frame compared to arc 10. it cuts through the air more easily, giving the arc z a more head light feel compared to the arc 10. with just holding them however, the arc z should feel slightly more head heavy. just my 2 cents..
i see...hmmm...no wonder most of the international players are still using Arcsaber 10 rather than Z slash... so final decision made? Arcsaber 10 ? anyone here has more ideas?
beginners, or should i say even some pros have difficulty adjusting to the ARC-Z. I think its wise to take the ARC-10 instead of the ARC-Z.
