They are called "Kinesio Tape". Like athletic tape but elastic and waterproof.
Here is the link if you are interested. It's a therapeutic tape that provide stability to your injured area and also help the recovery process. I have personally used them for my wrist and shoulder. Good stuff.

Looks like it's not just a product. It's an entire therapy method/system.
Got certification and all that. Probably no good even if you just buy the tape and DIY

You can buy it in single roll (16.4 ft in length to be exact). They come in different width (1", 2" & 3") with 2" width as the most commonly use. You can apply around 22 applications per roll. The tape is latex free and non-medicated. Once taped on, it can be worn 3 to 5 days max per application and will withstand any athletic activity and shower without coming off. The area where you want to tape must be clean thoroughly...use alcohol to clean the area before applying the tape.

Yes, you can to a certain extend or simple application only because you must understand the insertion and origin of muscle. I follow the instruction on the manual (buy them online). I use this tape to support weakened and strained muscles and to prevent further injury.

REMEMBER, this tape by no mean to replace any doctor advise.

:) Then can fly in the court.
Use too much i worry then you will be mummy, not superman. :D:D

Last night, i watched the AE MS final again.
Kt should won the title. He had less experience facing his opponent which is under pressure.
cause he do few mistake that give bonus point to LCW,
Some how, the luck is at CW. LCW won the first set also with the lucky shot.

Yes, KT gave away 4 bonus points to CW when he attempted to play some unsuccesful net shots from the service line. However, he made them up later with some very tight net shots.

If KT is not a one shot wonder and continues to develop and improve on his shots repertoire, then he'll be the wild card in MS. I'd love to see how LD fares with him!

ya, by the way, LM also his coach as well.
I feel that the most difficult is the first step.
Teh help LCW a lot to start his first step.
By the way, Misbun paid to train LCW.
But Teh only paid RM50 to train LCW 40 times a month.
I do not think any coach willing to sacrifice for this.

    dear elvin,
do you know why LCW always wears a sweat band/watch on his left wrist during games??
Looks weird though, would'nt it affect his performance??
Is that some kind of training equipment for balance etc or a tradition in penang??
Btw, i really envy those that are in your club !!
Your training from your videos rocks !!

Nope, we do not have any special equipment.

By the way, KT knock out at the second round of Swiss Open.
From the record, i can't see he win a lot of net shot and smash.
May be someone already know the way to beat him.
Or might be still tired after the AE

Elvin, your father will be happy to know Nelson Heg & his partner Teo Ee Yi advanced to AJC Semi, thus qualifying for Youth OG & possibly next month's WJC. Nelson & Teo will be Msia's bet for AJC & WJC next year

    off topic-...

..that's very common. What kind of country do you think China is? With so much govt. control/restrictions. As a matter of fact, i experienced that while in Beijing during the 2008 OG...can't even open harmless photobucket.com or any of the picture storage websites:p...surprisingly (and thankfully), one can access badmintoncentral.com..

For me, the most important thing for being a coach is to change the way of coaching and mind set.
The world is changing all the time, so change to improve.
For me, the most important thing is basic.
Basic swing is use the most simple move for racket to hit the shuttle.
The more our hand move, more mistake we do.
For me, human are made to do mistake.
the more we do, the more chances to make mistake.
