i am also surprised with the results. does anyone have a summary of match? By looking at the match duration (1:07), it seems like both players tried their best and not throw the match.

On the other hand, PG and TH match was also really neck to neck. After a long time, I have noticed more than few good matches overall in a tourney. or have i not followed lately?

if there is video of AE matches uploaded, pls let us know.

LD VS BCL should meet in the final. These two are the best two players of this tournament. Too bad they met so early but this game is one of the classics in All england history.

Regarding Gade VS Taufik, the first set is well done for both players. The rest two are hardly considered as high level at all. Both were very very tired and the winner is gonna be brutally beaten by LCW tomorrow.

BCL led in first game by as much as 12-5 and went on to win it 21-16, think second set was pretty touch for LD as well. As for third, not sure what happened, I think LD was leading 11/12-6? and BCL tied and eventually took the lead to win it.

Wow, I'm really surprised. The god of badminton was down to his teammate.. Why Li Yongbo did not fix this match? So, it is easier now for LCW to grab the title?:p

Bao Chunlai is in top form.
LCW got dragged to 3 games, he is only in average form.
LCW will not find it easy at all to drag down Bao Chunlai. Turns out that Bao will be the ultimate opponent.

BCL is no ordinary player, he is the world junior champion & LD was the runner-up!

BCL has been carrying injuries for many years... maybe he has HEAL???

it was said here that LCW was in TOP form, after his spectacular win at 2010 KO and MO. Why doubt the No.1 now:confused::D:D:D

Lin Dan has won the title several times now, Chen Jin I believe has won it once. Does the Chinese camp want Bao to win it now?

    I don't understand all the incredulity.

The unexpected is the real charm of sports. Surely we wouldn't watch sports is the outcome was always the predicted one. Even Lin Dan can't be perfect every game. Besides, it's not like he lost to an unknown.
I just hope that it was real and not some evil machination of Team China's coaches.

Congratulations and Best of luck to Bao Chun Lai.:)

LD no matter how hard he trained and prepared since EAG09, he can be fit and all, but no denying his game is not as sharp as before, the 3 month layoff affected his game and I am not making up excuse for him. BCL simply is the better player, top form and deserving of the win.
Honestly, if LD had won today and meet LCW in the final, the way he play BCL, LD may lose to Dato. So, a better BCL will be a handful for Dato and I would not be surprised if BCL win. BCL is gonna go to the final, while PG is no easy meat for LCW. Lets see tomorrow.
I would not rule out LD, he is like the terminator...'I will be back':D:p
