then i better add more, here's what gonna happen:

1/ physically he will have lots of breath to catch when he meet bao. way back while ld was filming bao was running the stairs...

2/ tactically he will missed his famous cross court smash when he meet c.jin. way back again while ld was in restaurant c.jin was practicing his skills...

3/ mentally he will go blank when he meet lcw. way back and again while he was singing lcw was rehearsing his mental training...

i shall expect what to get from you...:D

This thread should be : Can LD perform this time round ?

Why? Purely because he has been absent for a while from tournaments and the question of him being match fit has to be considered. As always, I am sure if he loses, there will be excuse that he was not match fit - no difference when LCW lost and fans offered excuses.

But that aside, I question his toughness carrying him through this time. Age does catch up but LD being him, is going to be tough. LCW has not let up his training and that must be a plus for LCW. This time if LCW does not nail it, it will be one title that he will find hard to win from now as age catches up and new young players arrive.

My opinion is he is just right this time for this title. Two titles so far give him lots of boost. We have seen him taking Boonsak apart in the last tournament - awesome performance. There will many pretenders but LCW is not one of them this time. He is ready as can be - no luck required the way I see, just pure awesome skills and stamina.

I have increased my bet on him. He should be 4/5 odds on.

if we have been nailed and with a real nail, what do we do?
either we wear iron suit or we run...

in this case lcw has been nailed before but look, he is still here ...

in lcw's mind now he is using a new based on experience approach, taking the tournament step by step, trashing his opponent one by one, building up more and more confidence along the way... and he is sick of ld's name. why?

    x ball:
i think its the right time to start that new thread...

The pressure is on everyone - not just LCW. LD would feel the heat and so will Sony today. LCW has prepared well and so should be doing his best to win.

Sony has always been LCW's nightmare. LCW is fully aware of this. Everytime playing Sony in big tournaments, LCW is always so nervous that he cannot play normally. Sony's style of play and "cold" facial expression have always haunted LCW.:D

Looks like LCW will face more pressure than Sony! And it would appear therefore that Sony will have greater confidence coming into the court. If Sony remains as relaxed as before, that would be a killer combination!

Hope LCW will not mistaken Sony to be left-handed and return more shots to his forehand instead. :D:D:D

Poor WR1 KKK/TBH suffered that psychological nightmare yesterday when they lost to the 'veteran' Danes.

What else is there to view??..

LCW wins = he has overcome his mental weakness.
LCW loses = he still hasn't overcome his mental weakness.

    Very simple.
