So I got Yonex red stencil ink and stencil cutout. When I put the ink on the string, the stencil ink bottle head tends to leave strands of hair onto the string, very annoying as I would need to use a tweezer to take them off. Anybody else have this problem?

yes, but i just leave it. When your first shuttle/ rally, the hairs (furr padding) will disappear

Ok, after stenciling my racket and playing with it, i would say that while it does look aesthetically pleasing, it does not work so well during game play.

I found that it was difficult to get the strings back into alignment which affected my game. This may change as the ink is not so thick...

once the strings are dry swing the racket in the air and that should get rid of the hairs

It may be the case that he is playing with ti coted strings (eg BG65ti, 68ti etc) or he is playing at low tension (18, 19, 20 lbs) or a combination of both

at the moment i am using NBG95, not exactly sure of the tension. Told the stringer 24lbs, but it does not feel like it, feels a lot less.

Will a black Sharpie marker damage the strings?

Sharpie tends to be corrosive and it would also leave marks on the corks of shuttlecocks.

since it has free shipping, it makes it the best. But tenniswarehouse would be the fastest.

So, is it possible to put a different logo on each side of the strings or would the ink just spread to the other side, ruining your other image? I am thinking of putting a smiley face/frown or thumbs up/thumbs down on my rackets. I think that would be an awesome idea.

sadly not even using a marker (one thats not corrosive to strings will eventually go through)

normal stencil ink goes around strings quickly as it i being applied

Ah, thanks for your reply. I guess my entire plan is ruined then. lol Maybe I will have the signs on separate rackets and play with the one according to my emotions. Dang, that is not going to be as cool as my original thought. Hehe. ^^
