Taufik - i think he can go to QF easily. Gade/Simon/WCH wait him in QF
Sony - if he can pass Du Pengyu @ R32, he will meet LCW
Simon - if he can pass WCH, Gade wait him in R16
    Hayom - Chen Jin in R32..bad draw...Hope upset...

    WS
Firdasari - her chance to reach QF better than her compatriots..
R32 meet Wang Chen, R16 Zhou Mi/Ji Sung Hyun
Febe - Wang Shixian in R32...Hope upset (again)
Maria Kristin Yulianti - she can go to Main Draw !! I believe on her..but Wang Xin wait her in R32

The draw for Lee Chong Wei:
    1. No major Chinese opponent, except maybe for Chen Long till the Final possibly.
    2. BUT, dark horses like Sony Dwi Kuncoro, Jan O' Jorgensen, and veterans like Peter Gade and Taufik Hidayat await him. LCW must beware of Sony in particular since he lost to Sony twice in the World Championships before.

If Bao Chunlai and Chen Jin progress to the QF and SF respectively and end up meeting Lin Dan, the second-seed is pretty much guaranteed a safe passage to the Final yet again.

There seems to be some inconsistency with the draw. In the men single seedings nos. 1, 4, 5, & 8 are grouped in the top half whilst 2,3,6 & 7 are grouped in the bottom half. In the ladies Single seedings 1,3,5 & 8 are grouped in the top half whilst seedings 2,4,6 & 7 are grouped in the bottom half. I wonder why they choose to do this?

TH has favourable drawing into QF due he's seeded player meanwhile the other three we can only hope they could create upset to overcome heavy-weight opponents like Lee Chong Wei, Peter Gade and Chen Jin.
In WS, tough draw for all INA WS.

1 and 2 are separated while 3-8 are randomly drawn into the top or bottom half.

See at the brighter side. Once INA players defeat the Chinese there is no competition left against them :D:D

Once INA player beat Chinese, and once Sony Dwi Kuncoro beats Datuk Lee Chong Wei ;)

Besides the Lin Dan match, round 2 is the match which I will be the most worried for LCW.
    SDK > Chen Jin? Or?

i wouldn't be suprised if china squad brings their broom and make another sweepp of all the events just liek last year.
why? because the other asian powerhouse coutnries will be exhauseted after competing in this week's asia region thoams and uber cup qualififcation. whie china players will be resting and preparing.
malysia squad could make a surprise too,but doubt if they'll win.

If 3-8 is randomly selected you may end up having seedings 1,3, 4, 5 on one side of the draw whilst 2,6,7, 8 are on the other side. This would defeat the purpose of seedings. I think in most cases (in tennis & table tennis) seedings 1,4 are usually on one side and 2 & 3 on the other.

    This is how it works....
Seeded 1and 2 are separated..then seeded 3 and 4 are drawn..either 3falls on top or bottom part then seeded 5 to 8 are drawn again...so it's not true seeded 1 and 4 or seeded 2 and 3 on one side..even in tennis..they do same thing
