No reason to ax him...well, any player is as good as the last tourney he plays in. Bao will stay until some player comes along and takes over. We are talking about CHN, not MAS, DEN, KOR or even INA....there are so many good players competing for 2 or 3 spots...look what happens to XXZ and ZL, defending world champions that cannot defend their crown simply...if MS is tough in CHN, how about WS more competitive...WL, WYH, JYJ, WX, WSX, LL, and who knows how many more, now pick 2 or 3...and young ZL who can play for any country is history in CHN If BAO wants to keep playing, bad knee and all, he can plays for CAN, where once upon a short time ago, we have a WS player playing until her 40's....hahaha!
----------------------------------------------------------------------- Chen Long was 'gifted' a rest day so he could be stronger for today's semi-final against uncle Peter Gade. The story line is always the same with the Chinese squad. ------------------------------------------------------------------------
_________________________________________________________________ Many countries will welcome BCL with open arms especially those countries which rely on 'foreign' talent to boost their image and prestige. The perks are very good and in no time the performing imported players will become millionaires. Your suggestion is brilliant. __________________________________________________________________
Yeah, like Germany have a womens singles player xu huaiwen who I belive is Chinese but due to the competition she had to change to Germany
Hong Kong, why? It would be the same as in China (still part of China, and probably be under the control of LYB). Maybe someone should start a thread on " The best country to play for " Ooops.... it may be too political.
Is Bao's career really over because of injuries. I thought he made significant progress last year. Sad.
