Not a very convincing victory for Nitya/Grace. I expected a straight-set victory  But well, let's hope Maria Kristin wraps up the tie for INA.

It is a steep hill climb for Singapore's girls against INA.

But I'm pleasantly pleased to see our WD1 "scratch" pair of Vanessa Neo/Shinta Sari taking the second game off Greysia Polii/Nitya Maheswari
    before collapsing in the rubber, 21-23, 21-18, 10-21. :D

It will be interesting to see how the other "scratch" pair of Yao Lei/Li Yujia fare against Shendy Irawati/Meilian Jauhari. Yao Lei has been separated from her regular partner Shinta Sari but got herself a more experienced Li Yujia to try to win a point.

But will Xing Aiying regain some confidence for Singapore against Maria Kristin to give Singapore a fighting chance? And to allow the new WD2 partnership to have a crack at levelling 2-all? :p

    Must be having long rallies

Must be having long rallies. Not good, they are more tired for their next match.

It's actually an astute move by the S'pore squad. Whether it pays off, we will see.

Well, our two WS are no match for INA.

So the other scratch pair has no chance to prove themselves. :D

Great, Lydia won.....and MAS Women team won with 3 - 0 over Tha.

Yes, It seems like Mas coaches are not stupid in this.....good for Mas.

But funny why they fielded Lydia in recent MAS IC......Poor Lydia....she lost badly ....and were given back injury as reason! ?????
