So anyone trying out for the Toronto and District team this year? It's held on December 27 and 28 at some place I forgot.

So right now I'm currently in need of a doubles partner and hopefully a mix. So if you also need a partner, PM me or reply to this post!!!

    PS. IM A GUY!...;)

I actually am not supposed to know... although from talking with other people I know most of the team. COBA isn't posting their team in the public or anything, so I don't think I should post it here. I'd say its half-decent, but not up to the level of Toronto's teams. Guess you'll find out at the games!

It was an awesome weekend, and hats off to TO west, east and WOBA A Team. Though COBA placed 4th, but we deserve the Most Noisiest Team Award. I don't think anybody can argue with that...

Well, Toronto West won, so I guess its the *******'s world. By ******* I mean their jerk coach, whom I heard even his players hated him.

You sure got that right. He treated the alternates like trash. *hmph*. There's going to be a "meeting" with some of the heads of Toronto and District and we're filing a complaint....worst weekend I ever had.

Aw that sucks about the whole treatment thing... sounds good that they're gonna do something about it though.

Guess what he said to our coach on Saturday morning before we played his team in the semifinal? "So who do you hope to play for 4th place?" He didn't even say "who do you hope to play for bronze?," like assuming we'd lose the 3rd place match, after losing to his team (which was most likely, and it happened too they bagelled us 9-0 although there was two 3-game matches). But later that day our manager talked to the officials about it and made him apologize and all the other coaches were congratulating him for it cuz they dislike him as well. (our manager is young too, like 20 years old) Also, we had a definite chance in the 3rd-place tie, we lost 6-3 but if our first singles player won his (lost in 3) and we put a different girl in 2nd singles we would have taken bronze and we would have shown that jerk.

That sounds good how they're going to have some meeting in TO about it. And yah... i heard the alternates of the Toronto West Team didn't have a great weekend. Being officials and not even an encouragement from the coach himself. Too bad..., hope you have a good one for the next OWG.

oh yah and about that "we're" in jst_anthr_grls' thread, who are they?

It was a great time for COBA, not so great for TO West I heard, at least that's what the alternates said.

TO East had Brian Choa (sorry, I know this is the wrong spelling for his last name, please correct me)
    and
    TO West had Daniel Allard
