Bao wins relatively easily in two straight sets. 21-15, 21-12.

Couldn't imagine Taufik losing like this, but I guess it's reasonable as he's had some tough games than Bao before the finals.

Congratulations on Bao's first win in a while! Certainly redeemed himself as one of the top Chinese players. :)

Then try GDTV & Shanghai sports on Sopcast...If not, ask Fidget where he's watching the English commentary webstream..

Taufik, i guess, will have a hard time winning a SS title as long as the top (4-5) players are there...

Bao looked confident the whole way through. He never lost his focus...nor that vaguely bewildered look he seems to wear on court. Congrats BCL!

Taufik made too many unforced errors. He's probably exhausted. Congrats Bao.

Bao has such good reach, he gets just about everything back. Don't think Taufik really had the big shots needed to win the points.

no SS for taufik again. Yonex Single Sleeve doesn't work. too gayish. loopsided off balance. LiNing 'add oil' yonex got burnt.

Taufik simply doesn't have the stamina needed to win a high quality match vs. players like CJ or even BCL calibre.
His bread and butter is & has always been the net and the jumpsmash ala like 4-5 yrs ago. Unfortunately, his fitness/stamina (or lack of) doesn't give him enough to execute them. He can try to be patient and rally, but then again, his fitness/stamina is lack.

coming to a court near you...
He took out PSH and SS both in 3 gruelling games. No wonder he is exhausted. All the same he's shown he's in better shape than last year. Well done BCL, kept cool under pressure.
