BCL should just get his knee fixed! better to miss the nxt few tournaments and drop rank, then come back wif a bang and whack up everyone! :) So much better than playing with an injury and only progressing up to say..round 2?

Is Bao really better than Chen Jin. I always thought Chen Jin is better all rounded while Bao is a watered down version of Lindan.

is it possible that the china team does not want to pay for the fees to fix up his knee? Can that be a reason why he is not undergoing the surgery? Or he's scared that he may be replaced if he leaves?

Looks like Bao is trying to tell people that he means business in JO this year. I am just guessing is he trying to either attempt to snatch the 2nd MS spot in TC from chen jin or he is planning to compete the 3rd MS spot with Chen Long.

You can't really do that...LD struggles against PSH sometimes....LCW just demolishes him every single time. And we all know what LD does to LCW, right?

By luck or ability or both, the best person wins in any tournaments, no excuses.
BCL delaying operation, I surmise is the level of competiveness in CHN is overwhelming, not just from CJ/CL but who else coming up - the fear of being displaced? We are talking about a huge pool of very good players to pick from. The pool can only get bigger as more players venture into badminton in CHN with Lin Ning serious foray in the baddy business. Teenagers in CHN may look up to LD at how lucrative badminton can be and I am thinking out loud, it would be very difficult to catch CHN and badminton would eventually follow the path of ping pong, dominated by CHN. Foreign talent imports (esp in WS) would be one way to play CHN.
