Yes, it's good that LD managed to win the title. That now means only some 92% of his titles are won with a CHN MS waiting for him either in SF or Finals. And he won it without much preparation since his target is to win the CHN National Games. It's a pity he 's not going on to prove his superiority in JO09. But yes, that can wait since it's every year and CHN National Games is every 4 years.

I don't think it's so much about who discover LCW. It's more about who saw the potential in him. MF commented (maybe during one AE match) about how BAM wanted to reject LCW because he was small by MS standards when he was in his teens. MF fought for his acceptance. Then during the initial training period, LCW got homesick and called home and cried (he must be Mama's boy) to say he wanted to go home. And he did. Not long after, MF and co went all the way to Penang to persuade LCW to go back for training. So had it not been for MF's belief in LCW's potential and his insistence on having LCW back, BAM would be without a star today. Thus MF deserves the discovering credit. Of course LM, Misbun and some other coaches deserve their coaching credits. (It's like the story of Jet Li. Apparently one day he got fed up of his Shao Lin? monk sifu and went home.But his sifu knew Jet Li was a special disciple, so the sifu went to his home to ask him to go back to him.)
With LD choosing only about half the super series tournaments, and LCW still participating almost everything, I suspect LCW will lose at least 7 - 8 out of their 10 encounters. I said before the match that if LCW can keep his cool, it should be at least 50-50, based on the fact that LD fought very hard with PSH, while LCW cruised through DPY. At that time I had something like LD vs HYH or LCW vs CL in mind. Then I watched the LCW-DPY match... Alas, LCW seemed tired during the later half of the 2nd game. BP beating CJ is not very surprising... In 2007 BP beat CJ twice very easily. Both BP and LD looked quite tired after two 3 setters, and the final is not interesting at all.
