That's right. Those in the waiting list will replace those who pull out from the main list. Thus it's important that you check back regularly to see if your name has been included in the main list. No problem for lending some help.
Well, you were late and late comers have to wait in line. You get "stomped" these days if you try to cut queue. Waiting patiently is a virtue and let's practice that. Kidding with the words used but you need to wait for 3 players to pull out. That's the rule of the game.

fully agree with tenggk. the list is on a first-come-first-serve basis. all those on the waiting list are advised not to turn up for the session, tho nobody can stop you from turning up anyway. this is to ensure fairness as well as to implement some form of crowd control. imagine organizing a party with food and drinks catered for 10 but 15 turn up. not very pleasant.
depends on whether you have any preferred locations (ie near the place you stay or work). there are games every night, scattered across the island, if you are to browse through this forum.

here are the recommended (but not limited to) steps: 1. Locate the venue 2. Enter venue 3. Locate the courts with reference to the latest list in this thread. 4. Identify yourself to anyone who is lurking impatiently around the allocated courts, and ask for Iwan (the head honcho) 5. Shake hands (optional) 6. Engage in small talk (optional) 7. Put on your badminton gear 8. Unzip your racket bag 9. Remove your favourite racket from the bag 10. and the rest, they say, is history................
