By the way, right now its with my right foot. The toe nail had became 'dead skin coloured'. But then now my left foot thumb toe nail already became black. So now what am i suppose to do to let the black toe off?:crying: will it be like my right foot toe nail after this:(

    It will grow back.

I also faced the same problem before. I just pulled out the dead one..after some time the new one grew back.

My nail is still there but loose. It will come out but itself over the months and the new one is right underneath the loose one.

I also faced same problem last time. Used a pair of jogging shoe to play badminton. When attempt to jump, landed on both toes and caused injury.

If the old one is loose, try to pull it out. Otherwise go to hospital to take out the old and injured one. I bear the pain and pull out the old one. After more than six months, a new layer start to grow again..now ok already.

If the old tail nail never come out properly, then it might have caused problem for new one to grow properly.

I dare to pull out because that toe nail is hanging out about 3 quarter already..maybe you can wait a little longer and see what happens. That wat happen to my other toe nail. It was totallly dry and then came out by itself.

If not, try to get a doctor to help you to pull out.

don't be forceful. if the toe nail cannot fully come out yet when u pull it, tat could be part of it still alive.

suggest wait for it to come out naturally. should be able to.

George, I know what you mean about which part is damaged. I'm experiencing the same thing. Anyway the part of the toenail that is the colour of dead skin will not hurt. Just cut as much off as you can so it won't lead to more damage :)

I'm experiencing the problem on the biggest toe of my right foot (racket foot). Lesson to learn is always get good shoes >.< I was using some cheapo RM60 shoes and that's how I got injured =/

i also learnt my lesson. Always use the correct type of shoe for a particular type of sport, especially to avoid this toe injury.

I agree with fidget. If it doesn't hurt, leave it on--it will protect the nail bed. That's what I've always done, and the new nail grows underneath.

    ctjcad--ewwwwwww dude!

Just moments ago, i went to the clinic hoping to seek more info from the doctor:p, unfortunately luck was not on my side, when i went to the clinic, it was lunch break! omg..maybe im fated not to see the doctor:D .. so right now, i just hope that my toe nail will come out by itself and i just need to take good care of it. And be cautious of everything. I'm sure the new one will grow by itself.;) And as usual, i will be playing my badminton several times per week;) Nothing can stop me from playing badminton!:p
