TJY lost to Intanon in 2 straight games 21:10, 21:13:eek: and TJY had proven her merit by beating China Junior Champion b4. I think not many will dare to bet against Intanon to win the single title after looking at the scoreline.

Yes, it's ridiculous to ask her to play XD at 9am and then WS at 9.4am. The coach is brainless.

For MAS, it's the boys again who outshine the girls. But credit to the girls, they are good enough now to give a good challenge for the mixed team title.

The overburden excuse should not be used for TJY because Intanon played in the XD as well. But JY did get stretched in her matches yesterday, and she also had a play the team final.

I guess Febby Angguni has better chance than the other two to secure semifinal spot. Siti Anida Lestari will test China hope Chen Xiaojia and looks like an uphill task for Ana Rovita to beat Thai young sensation Ratchanok Intanon.

A good showing by the GS as all 3 progress to the QF. But, its likely all three will be eliminated today. Realistically, only the more experienced Febby Angguni has a chance of progressing to SF.

Meanwhile, Mohd Ulinnuha/Berry Angriawan also beat the KOR pair and will now face the uphill task of triumphing over the MAS top-seed pair of Ow Yaw Han/Yew Hong Kheng for a place in the last 4. Angga Pratama/Yohanes Rendy Sugiarto might also have a chance against the second-seed from IND Pranav Chopra/Sai Praneet.

All 2 INA GD pairs lost.

So, INA has 2 in XD, 3 in GS, and 2 in BD for the QF later this afternoon/

hmmm... for all the huh-hah over the JPN players, only one representative in the QF. THA keeping true to their promise. MAS shows strength in quality and quantity but only on the boy's side. CHN strong considering they use second-stringers. INA bouncing back from disappointing team event. But not KOR.

there's plenty of YY stuffs being sold there i heard;)
Actually i was not surprised by the final outcome of the match to be honest. in fact, i think TJY has been having some exausting days this week..but all credits should be given to this young thai girl Intanon Ratchanok:cool::)

yes, its free i think..so the seat will be limited i think. that's why i predict there will be very crowded during the semi and final day:rolleyes:
