i swapped the insoles on my vt7000c to some thicker cushioned insoles. the ones which came with the shoe dont seem durable.
Hi jymbalaya, I weighed it and it is barely 350 grams, more towards 340 grams. I can't give you a more accurate reading as mom's cake powder weighing thingamagic scale doesn't go any more detailed than 50 grams each. Justin

I think shoe durability varies depending on how the users treat and care for them (proper airing for them to dry after a game, stuffing newspapers inside to soak the moisture and help maintain the shape, not using them for anything else but badminton, walking with them only on badminton courts etc.) I personally feel that if you do take proper care of your shoes, it will last a good year plus. Then you have to worry if the cushioning inside your shoe has worn out first before the actual shoe itself One thing I noticed about the new Victor VT-7000 series is that the insole is just a very basic insole. I am planning to change it to something better for more cushioning and better arch support. Justin
One more, the VT-7000 is a very flexible shoe. I think the best thing is to just try the VT-7000 series and the 805 with your badminton socks and see how they feel to make your own judgment. Justin
