The other alternative to match RSL classic tourney in Malaysia is APACS Aero-flight 700. Apacs is voted as Malaysia Choice 2009. The shuttlecock can last up to 2 games in 21 points system with mainly intermediate skills.:D

Not really. This is a BWF approved model which some popular models like aeroplane G1130, Yonex AS40,50,F90...etc...also meeting the requirements. Durability is no doubt. Check out below website.

Check Singapore ebay. hola4 should know the seller. In fact, I think he is very 'close' to the seller. :p

Buy them and let us know your opinion.

That is for RSL Classic Tourney. Sealion is RM1 more expensive but not as worth it. Personally i enjoy using Protech PT-10 more. You can get the shuttle at Honly. Which is near the store.

Honly price for the popular ones among Singaporeans (IMHO) are

Sea Lion C1101 RM54 (SG cheapest is $25)
    Protech Masterpiece RM54 (SG $26)
    RSL Classic RM54 (SG $26)
    RSL No1 Tourney RM49/RM51 (SG25 to 26)
    Victor Champion RM55 (SG$28)

You can save about $4 to $6 per tube by buying in JB.
By economic of scale , you have to weigh the pros and cons considering your time, effort, petrol, hassle of traffic jam and quantity you are buying.

Go for RSL Classic Tourney, it is definitely more lasting than both Sealion. Take a look at the cork after some playing. You will notice some changes to it.

I have tried RSL Classic Tourney last year and have since changed to Sintec 818 SPECIAL for the past 6 months and I am pretty happy with it. However since I am looking at a cheaper one, RSL Classic Tourney can be an alternative.

Try out yesterday, it has good flight and durability for 2 games of single with lots of hard smashing. Even the feather breaks a piece, the flight is still there. Btw, i had only plays 4 games of 21 points system with my bro-in-law, 2 games using the Apacs Aero-Flight 700 and 2 games using the Yang Yang 300B which i finds the flight and durability can't last for 1 and half games.

My preference for shuttlecock brand i had bought is as below,
    1) Protech PT-10 (S$28.50 @ Mr Soh)
    2) RCL Supreme (S$26.50 @ Mr Soh)
    3) Apacs Aero-Flight 700 (RM$49 @ Honly)
    4) Yonex AS-40 (RM$70 @ Complex Shopping Centre)
    5) Yang Yang 300B (RM$52 @ Honly)
    6) Victor Champion No.1 (S$27 @ Chris AMK)

So, based on above, for long run, i will probably stick to Apacs Aero-Flight 700 since it is the cheapest among the rest as i am looking for shuttlecock which is $20 and below.

My next trying brand will be Sealion @ Honly which cost RM$54 and below depend on model.

The above is my own findings based on my preferences, so i dunno how you guys rate it. :p

Sintec 818 is one of the better ones but ex ...$26 for 818 , $29 for 818 special ....i think their shuttles are more fresher hence last longer ...
Sometimes, the sintec shop fellow will tell me this batch juz came out from factory few days ago only ...can buy (maybe their sale gimmicks )
So far quite satisfied with Sintec shuttles esp the 818...

whereas those RSL Classic , Protech M/P from JB seemed to be slightly lower quality (cheap price $22 per tube ) IMHO.

Afterall, it is really you are paying for what you get lor ...

    MARCH-ONE MB-02 Shuttlecock (MB Sports)

Has anyone try MARCH-ONE MB-02 Shuttlecock before? Recently, just purchased one tube at MB sports from Bishan for S$26/tube and yet to test it. I was told it is grade 1 goose feather with 3 layers natural corks(Hard) and also saw some advance players used it in Bishan SH. The seller(Melvin) offer bulk purchase offer at S$24/tube with order of 10 tubes. Please provide some feedback if your team had tested it. Thanks. :D
