I think we're going off topic a bit here with the charity, and the bad thing is that I start it. I truly believe that LD and LCW are in a class of their own. Taking a set does not mean that you can compare the opponents to them. I've seen those two have tougher 2 setters then 3. Like when LD played against SDK in the 2007 world championship. That was a tough 2 set. Often times they decide to take a breather in the second set and finish in the 3rd so it's not so suprising that they drop a set here and there.
There is indeed a "contradiction". You both believe that LD is god and those sets/matches he lost are "charity sets/matches". However you disagree on whether other players, in particular LCW can have this god-like privilege/ability to be similarly kind-hearted.

May be you are not religious, but please stop using the name of the mighty in this context. Anyways, I don't see Lin Dan as having "the all mighty" abilities, neither do I treat him as a superior being. To me, he is more of a "tool" to clam down the "LCW is the best" spirit of the boleh fans. However, without a question that Lin Dan is a much better representative(in terms of appearance) to promote badminton in the western society than LCW.
