Hello All, I am new to this forum. I was wondering how do I rate my level of play? I've seen A-level, B-level, C-level, etc... What does each level mean? Are they Advance, Intermediate, Beginner, respectively? What about D, E, F-level? Are there such thing? Thank you!
It stops a D level. D-level is the lowest. A-level is the highest. You start from playing in D-level and move your way up. Everybody starts badminton at the D-level. If you have not actually participated in a tournament before but is actually really good, you maybe of a higher rank, but on the records you are still a D-level. Now how do you rank up? 1. You must win each level twice before moving on to the next one. example: you win a D-level tournament twice (1st place). You are now considered a C-level. 2. You win a higher level tournament. example: You have never joined a tournament, but you think you are good enough to pass as a C-level. You join a C-level tournament and obtain 1st place. You are now considered C-level.
Jing09, thanks for the info, this is useful. This makes me want to join a tournament now and test my skills. I was just curious, I think my skill is as good a High School Varsity player. What do you think my level would be?
a D-level player. Most High school players are still only D-level. I am one myself Start out at D-level. Once you participate in a tournament, you will know your place.
Cool, thx! I'll look into a D-level tournament in SoCal this summer. I just want to start playing more and improve...
