You know what? The fight was supposed to be competitive at least for 8 or 9 rounds. Hatton was supposed to do what his trainer told him to do. He reverted to the old Ricky Hatton in the Kostya Tzsyu fight. He has no jab, no head movement, no faints, just pure aggression. Next time Hatton, if you really want to win listen to your corner.

I want to see Mayweather win against Marquez. I May wins then he can fight Pac. But if May lose there's no reason for him to fight Pac. If he can still fight Pac it's that compelling anymore. Hence, not that much a mega fight. Marquez win or lose will be challenge by Pac. Pac already said that Pac vs. Marquez 3 must happen.

    Does anyone here loves boxing?
In my opinion, boxing is the best sport out there. Nothing comes close to it infact. I love it totally, both watching it and being in the ring myself. I box on an amateur basis. Being in the ring gives me the feeling of absolute freedom.

My best boxer? Only one, Sugar Ray Leonard. The man has it all, both brains and skills.

Anyone here box on an amateur basis?

I really like boxing a lot but not on an amateur basis like you have said.

I might go to a gym and ask the people to teach me some boxing lesson.

    Ok.

    Hi there!!!

It's me again and I'm going to update this thread. This July 13, we will have a very exciting match between two top welterweights beating out each. Miguel Cotto of Puerto Rico will depend his WBO crown against the former IBF champion of the world the Ghanian Joshua Clottey.

Cotto won the vacant WBO belt against the former undefeated English Michael Jennings last Feb. 21, 2009. He won via the 5th round TKO.

Clottey last fight was against former undisputed welterweight champion Zab Judah last August 2008. Clottey won by a technical decision. Clottey has a mandatory obligation set by the IBF. Instead of fighting the challenger, he surrendered the belt and will face Cotto.

This will be an interesting match. A savvy ring techician Cotto against a defensive genius Clottey.

Supporting the main event will be a bout between the Puerto Rican Ivan "Iron Boy" Calderon against the slugger Rodel Mayol of the Philippines.

Calderon who has a record of 32-0, 6 knockouts and is beginning to find his way onto several of boxing's pound-for-pound lists. He previously holds a belt in the minimum division and he will be depending his belt, the WBO jr. flyweight Championship belt.

The 27-year old Mayol is a five-time Philippine amateur champion who began his career with 22 straight wins before losing in his first shot at a title against Eagle Kyowa in 2006. He also lost in a title bid to Ulises Solis in 2007. But what is interesting about Mayol is that although he lost both championship fights, most who know him say that he is a much better fighter than given credit for and that his losses can be blamed on bad management.

This will be shown on HBO pay per view.

Can Floyd Mayweather Jr. remain undefeated against Sugar Shane Mosley? Everyones puts their money on Moneyweather. Sure he should receive top billing but I thought maybe, just maybe, Shane can at least draw it for the first time for Moneyweather?
