hayom the same group with andrew smith,at this tournaments seeded number 1,but he can reach the final.but even though CKB can beat PK but he can't reach the final,is it right?
Predictions are always very subjective (based on individual's knowledge of the players and his/her own judgment). Nevertheless, we try to be as objective as possible. If we are biased, we will predict that INA players will win EVERY TIME. Yet, I have predicted against INA players/pairs (including Rijal/Fran's loss to the Thai pair, Wifqi/Afiat's loss to the SIN pair) . I am glad that the INA players can prove me wrong with their good showing. So much for biased predictions eh Based on rankings and experience, no doubt the 4 INA WS players are ahead of the Thai girls, which is why even though Ratchanok beat Lindaweni in R16, I still predicted that the more experienced Aprilia and subsequently Febe will beat her. No doubt, I will still predict that Maria Elfira Christina will beat Ratchanok in the Final tomorrow I guess ppl here can judge if that's considered biased predictions. LOL. Even if all the 4 players lost to Ratchanok Intanon, I guess we are still fine with that because we are guaranteed one title in XD and possibly a couple more
do he meet andrew smith? u cant even name his name? pk beat hong ji hoon and NGUYEN TIEN MINH in suwon
PB Djarum started to send Hayom to Int Tourneys last year. So I believe Chan Kwong Beng should have more int experience than him. His results include: SF at GGJP Indonesia Challenge 2008 R16 of Dutch and Bulgaria GP 2008 -- losing to Chetan Anand and Rajiv Ouseph 19-21 in the rubber-set. R16 of Vietnam Open GP 2008 -- losing to Nguyen Tien-Minh 26-28, 16-21. So, I will say a decent record for a player that just started his international badminton career. Even Tommy Sugiarto has yet to win a title until now Well, I never expect that Hayom will progress to the Final. I believe his coach also only set a SF target for him. So, a Final placing itself is a bonus for Hayom. A win will be....a minor miracle I should say...but not impossible given the closeness of the scores of the previous match against Nguyen Tien-Minh also in Vietnam.
I heard that Edo/Lingga manage to push the Japanese pair to rubber-set. Pia Bernadet Zebadiah/Debby Susanto beat their team-mates. So, Pia in 2 Finals tomorrow.
even though he didn't meet andrew smith, but he can beat HYH who had beat andrew smith,HYH can beat andrew smith it means he better than andrew smith.and now Hayom reach to the final in this game, but CKB can't!it means Hayom is better than CKB!
Sigh...Fernando Kurniawan/Lingga Lie lost to the Japanese pair Takeshi Kamura/Takuma Euda 19-21 in the rubber-set Let's see whether Wifqi/Afiat can reach the Final. So, 1 XD title, 3 other representatives in MS, WS, and WD Finals and 1 more undecided for Team INA.
i see, chen long beat lcw in india mean cl better than lcw. and hafiz beat cl mean he is better than cl and lcw is that ur theory? ok then. p/s:hyh didnt play in this tournament,is hhy
It doesn't matter. The fact is Hayom will be in the final and CKB won't, and we are happy enough with the fact .
my theory only in one tournament, not to be continue, cause 1 player performance not always constant,in 1 tournament maybe she/he who had upper world rank can lose with lower rank player. it depends on their performance and their health condition,in this tournament i think AS performance is not to good,so he can lose with HHY,and Hayom in this tournament he make a good performance so he can reach the final, but CKB can't reach the final in this game,so it means in this tournament Hayom is better than CKB! in india LCW maybe have a poor performance so he can lose, and in india i can said that Hafiz better than LCW,cause he can reach more better result than LCW.but in next tournament, don't know.must see their performance.
Comments from team manager on Hayom's performance: "Hayom played well today, beating the Japanese player in straight-sets. His shot-making ability is getting more complete and can start to control the front court. He is also more matured in terms of his thoughts and attitude during the match." As for Febe's loss to Ratchanok: "The Thai girl is very good for a 14-yo in terms of her power as well as having good control ability."
