Good Bargain on Badminton Shoes in Toronto

    The "Canuck Sports Stuff" in Scarborough (Midland/Progress) offers good bargain on Asics Gel Rocket 3 (both Men and Woman) at C$59. They are volley ball shoes but I found them perfect in playing badminton.

    The price is excellent but is there an alternative colour? That's the most obnoxious looking shoe I've ever seen.

    Yes, there are alternate colours, look deeper.

    The store carried silver/blue for men and silver/pool for women in March. IMO, these will not make you look bad on court.

    Thanks for the post, I've been looking for court shoes and most large sports either have none or very limited sizes/styles. Is there anywhere in Toronto west, or Mississauga that I can go for badminton shoes?
    If not, I might go to Scarborough just for the shoes.

    Thanks roby2003, its much closer than Scarborough.

    Do you know of any good deals going on right now, or suggestion for intermediate level court shoes?

    Believe it or not, I find Yonex badminton shoes pretty good. I have the older 99 Limited and 79 Wide. Both are comfortable. I have good feedback from buddies that the 100 is good for them as well.

    I suggest visit the store and deal with the owner directly. His pricing is very competitive compared to Lee's or Browns.
