Guys, in case anyone tells me again that the word 'whitewashed' is too strong, I like to point out it is really just metaphorical. :)

    Credits to Lee Chong Wei.
Everyone should give it to him.

One has pay respect to LCW for this win. He made so few errors and tried to engage LD rarely at the net because he knows LD is very good. The game plan was to play to the backcourt and make LD work.

LD was not given much chance to smash either coz the drives were deep. LD showed some fire in the beginning but LCW played a patient game and did not try to rush things - he played the same game right throughout. The energy seemed to sap by the end of the 1st game - you can see LD faltering and by the middle of the 2nd game, you can feel for LD (the sort of feeling I had for LCW when you know he is losing).

I have no chance to watch the match but only the live scores which said that LCW beat LD at the net 12 to 10 and twice the number in smash winners at 8 to 4. I hope the statistics don't lie! :D

The turning pt of the game would be at 15-15 in the first set, when LCW won 5 pts in a row to make it 20-15. Prior to that, Lin Dan was leading all the way since the start of the game; from 3-0, then 7-2, 11-7 at the break, and 13-9. Almost everyone thought there's no way back for LCW, but, he did level the scores to 13-13 and then 15-15.

    Still falling short

Well. as a Malaysian, despite my wanting to rejoice ...I still feel that Lee Chong Wei and our MD pair of Koo Kien Keat / Tan Boon Heong still fall short of winning the most important titles ...the All England, Olympics, World Championship.

People like the Chinese are good ...they focus on the major titles....

    True..
Whatever it is, take the Swiss as a good start, there's no way we cannot beat them.

Perhaps, Swiss Open is not their priority, as people here mentioned.
But i doubt if they have gives away the titles, just like that. They've fight for it.

I think you might have misunderstood what I was trying to say. ;)

I was trying to tell X Ball that the statistics proved that LCW was better at the net and won more on smashes this time round!

In contrary, I'm trying to emphasize on your points either.
    Once again, perhaps sentence structuring.

God! Is that why i've to explain everything/ A -Z to my friends...?
    aduh..

    Yes, maybe. :D

I'm sure you can make things clearer by spending a little bit more time on what you want to say and pay a little more attention to your sentence structure, grammar and spelling. ;)

There is still some brave soul in Malaysia, someone who is not blinded with Malaysia Boleh brouhaha or shallow achievements.

Dude, you are very brave. I am pretty sure the Boleh fans will now come screaming and scratching at you. ;)

Most Boleh fans would agree with him. A major plus point is that he was not trying to be sarcastic about it.

On the contrary to the bold prediction of "Boleh fans screaming and scratching at that particular post", I would also think most MAS fans will concur that Lee Chong Wei and Koo/Tan do lack the major titles ;)

Even our resident Boleh master george insisted that LCW lacks "consistency" :)

Why most? The rest are a bunch who cannot comprehend facts?
Cant help you if you cannot live with a little sarcasm.

not lacks of consistency but he must try to be consistent enough in order to beat lin dan.
