    Probably the mms/rtsp protocol is blocked on your network. I have the same problem on the wifi in the library. Just checked it at home and working fine [​IMG]

    Well the proxy set up for Realplayer and WMP specify settings for streaming so I don't think that's the problem. Besides, I tried to do it through my 3G modem too and that didn't work either :(

    Possibly not, but will probably be on TV channels and we'll get some high quality uploads (I hope!)

    What if??..

    ..with how quite a lot of us have been somewhat disappointed with the lack of livestream coverage, esp. for the last 2 days, what if the livestream organizer had continued their webcast for the last 2 days, even if the viewers are required to pay some sort of fee to watch it??
    If i recall, i thought the organizer had done the same thing in the past. But, for some reason, not this time. I'm sure some of us don't mind contributing some pocket change to follow the livestream...Even if they want to charge us a whole week of livestream coverage.

    I assume the reason they didn't continue themselves for a fee is because wob.tv is around now and surely have the internet broadcast rights. The reason mentioned on their website was because of television rights there would be no stream for the weekend.
