i still don't know whether he join military or get married... its really hard to find news about JJ..so i hope eveyone can share in this forum
It's ok...i think all of his fans must feel very disappointed of his quit...its so weird..everyone curious about it...T_T....however...i'll try my best to get his news...u too...we try together...:crying::crying:
i am also sad and always asking why??? feels no passion in badminton, kind of that la....but then i realize its the best choice for him.. i believe he already think it over and over, as a good fans we have to support him... what makes all the fans dissapointed might its feel so suddenly, without a rummour before all we have to do now is always support LEE JAE JIN to become national team coach so we will see him again in international event (i hope korean Coach such as Ha Tae Kwon, Lee Dong Soo, etc read this) HAHahA
The article referred to in this post by narnia, does not say that Lee Jae Jin has retired. He says in the interview (conducted in October) that he intends to do his 4-week military training beginning in late November and then, since there are no more major tournaments this year (Lee's words, not mine) he will decide afterward whether to continue playing next year. It is true he is officially not on the national team so he may have changed his mind and just retired but I know not of this being reported in the Korean press. However, limsy and danielwong claim - in posts to that same thread about Lee Hyun Il - to have read such news in the Chinese press.
sO sad if trUe he will qUits:crying:hOpefUlly he will plays bdmntOn again after attend military services...
I came to know Lee Jae Jin (Korean's men doubles) when competed in SIngapore this year (2010) and last year (2009). Watching him play, I discovered that hedisplays his own unique style of badminton. As a person, he is approachable, friendly and completely without airs. His sense of humour, coupled with an ever-ready smile, makes him a very personable man. I count it a privilege should there be more opportunities for me to get to know him better. Wheter he wins or loses on court, I will appreciate seeing him play Jennifer from Singapore
..has anyone ever mentioned this before that Lee Jae Jin looks a bit like our samuel882 (esp. w/the way he smiles)??..
Lee Jae Jin wins by…TKO? 23 February 2011 9:30 AM | The latest news from Lee Jae Jin. Unfortunately not so appropriate to a badminton forum...
again not really appropriate in a badminton forum but here's a video of Lee Jae Jin pro boxing match debut : http://www.tagstory.com/video/video_post.aspx?media_id=V000485941
Yes, this video is linked to in the Badzine story as well. Lee said he wasn't leaving badminton so he may be back in action with the Milyang team on the regular court for the Spring classic in Pocheon next month.
A Date with Lee Jae Jin - Jennifer from Singapore ( 29th July 2011 Friday) Below are some of the pictures i took with Lee Jae Jin when i went on a date with him while he was staying in Singapore for the Li Ning Singapore International Series 2011. Right meeting him at his hotel. Taking a photo together. ^^ Enthusiastically signing the whole autograph book i prepared for him. Enough autographs to last me a lifetime! After all the hard work signing, he got hungry. Picture of him getting into my car to grab dinner. Eagerly waiting for our food. At a Korean BBQ restaurant. Enjoying his Korean BBQ beef, his favourite. After eating, i brought him to Takashimaya for some shopping! = ) Trying on some Nike Shorts. He like to look at sport apparels. Lee Jae Jin looking for briefs and the men's section. =DDDDDD After shopping, we went to the basement to grab some drinks. He really loves mango juice! = ) I have very surprised and happy i was about to spend an entire evening with him despite his busy schedule. After spending the evening with him, i discovered that Lee Jae Jin has a very easy going and lovable personality. He is very fun to be with i am grateful that i have the chance to meet him up-close and personal. I would like say a thank you to the Korean team and wish them all the best in their upcoming tournaments!! With love, Jennifer 31th July 2011
