We are just hours from Christmas Day 2008 . So ... We are just hours from Christmas Day 2008. Time really flies for many of us. One of my many favourite Christmas carols is Silent Night. I have been told that this carol was first performed in 1818. Yes, that's 190 years ago. So let's sing together, shall we? Silent Night Silent night, holy night All is calm, all is bright 'Round yon virgin mother and Child Holy infant so tender and mild Sleep in heavenly peace Sleep in heavenly peace Silent night, holy night, Shepherds quake at the sight. Glories stream from heaven afar, Heav'nly hosts sing Alleluia; Christ the Saviour is born Christ the Saviour is born Silent night, holy night, Son of God, love's pure light. Radiant beams from Thy holy face, With the dawn of redeeming grace, Jesus, Lord at Thy birth Jesus, Lord at Thy birth .
At our Christmas party last Saturday, our choir members sang Silent Night in different languages including Japanese and Mandarin. I love singing in parts for this carol and the harmony of voices is just beautiful!
2008 Christmas carol: Loh loves singing Silent Night . Cheers Loh ... We all know that you love singing. And Silent Night is an excellent carol for Christmas. But we are surprised that you can sing it in Japanese and/or Mandarin. .
To all BC'ers... I wanna wish you a Merry Merry Christmas!! Hope all the blessings and everlasting love of the Lord be with you alwayz in this special day Happy New Year too everyone... Be success alwayz, keep up our spirit in 2009!!
meanwhile, thank you very much MAS Streamyx for giving us residents around Klang Valley a 'very good' christmas present
May the days until Christmas be full of sweet pleasure, And Bcers' holidays create joyful memories to treasure.
2008 Christmas turkeys, puddings and pies . And so today, Christmas has arrived. For those who are preparing Christmas turkeys, puddings and pies for your guests... May your stuffing be tasty, May your turkey be plump, May your potatoes and gravy have never a lump. May your puddings be delicious, And your pies take the prize, And may your Christmas dinner stay off your thighs! Merry Christmas Everyone! .
