Morten Frost Hansen..he was a sight to see. Never a wrong foot while playing and moving effortlessly around the court.
Yh very true ^^ ^^ Probably all international players footwork is adjusted to there techniques of hitting. And footwork is probably going to be different for everyone , like if theres a small person , might need to adjust there steps. So its hard to choose exactly , even though I chose LCW
I think footwork has evolve a lot, nowadays players then to take one big steps. Something in between jumping & footsteps.
Peter Gade. As far as best footwork is concerned, I think it is very difficult to judge who really is the best as there is no definite answer or a definition as to what is "perfect" footwork. However, as far as the most stylish low serve... everyone has to agree that Kenneth Jonassen has to be the winner. LOL
Chen Jin is good, but not what you call good footwork here... He is often falling over when coming to the net. Somehow he can deal with it, because he is elastic like a noodle. But i´m shure his coaches try to improve this part of his footwork and you can see him getting better compared to his junior days...
yep, i think they just edit it using some sound editor. anyway, just turn off the sound/speaker to have some peace
The footwork style of Taufik, LCW, Peter Gade, LD.. they're all quite different. Taufik's very smooth, but he's lazy. He turns and hits backhands rather than move to do overhead forehands. LCW scurries very quickly about the court, as he is very fit. Peter Gade lopes about the court like a schoolkid in his high-up shorts. Lin Dan.. well, he's got such a reach that he hardly seems to move at all. He always makes the opponent move much more than he ever does, and is back to the "homebase" position immediately after hitting a shot. I find Lin Dan's poise on hitting overheads straight down the line very impressive.
